Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT653 ...A sketch challenge!!  I didn't have an oval that was big enough to follow this sketch exactly but I did give it a try with what I had.  I guess I need to add a larger oval die to my wish list!! LOL

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS445 ...A color challenge!!  Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat, and Blackberry Bliss are the colors called for in this current challenge.  I used Moody Mauve card stock, Wild Wheat card stock & enamel dots, and Blackberry Bliss ink & card stock.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M475 ...A technique challenge!!  For this current challenge they are asking us to use die cuts and/or stencils.  Die cuts it is for today's card...even my sentiment is a die.

Update:  What an honor, this card was chosen as a "top 3 pick" by the Hand Stamped design team!!  Yippie!!  Thanks for the shout out on my card!!

Guest Designer @ CAS on Friday

Today I have the honor of being a guest designer over at CAS on Sunday!!  I am so very excited to  have this opportunity!!  I have enjoyed being a regular player with their bi-weekly challenges and it is a honor to get to create along side them for this new challenge that begins today.

CAS on Friday // #291 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  "Feathered Friends" is the theme for this current challenge!!  I am a Florida girl so you know what kind of birds I had to pick...LOL!!

Addicted to CAS // #265 ...A clean and simple "code word" challenge!!  BLENDED is the code word for this current challenge!!  I used a sponge brayer to create the blending on this card.

Make My Monday Challenges // #MMM233 ...A theme challenge!!  "On the Beach" is the theme for this current challenge!!  Sea gulls are always "on the beach"!!  Theses feathered friends work perfectly for this current challenge.

Papercraft Challenges // #PC109 ...A theme challenge!!  Polkadots are the theme for this current challenge!!  Who doesn't love some polkadotted designer papers!?!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS651 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for using some ribbon that was tied around a tee-shirt that was gifted to me at the beginning of school.  Now the gifter has a birthday and I wanted to use it on her birthday card.

Inspiration Station // #IS64 ...A photo inspired challenge!! My inspiration from August's photo...the apples...the red ones to be exact!!  But in honor of those green one, I did use some green polkadotted paper!!

Just Add Ink // #JAI716 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo...the blue and pink, the brick, the potted flowers.  Such a charming photo to inspire us!!

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC175 ...A sketch challenge!! This sketch worked perfectly for displaying my potted plants.  This stamp from Unity stamps is a trio of pots lined up in a row, but I cut one off and layered it so that I could have a "cluster" which was more fitting to the sketch.  The third pot got layered using 3D dots so that there was a bit of dimension.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc254 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row, runs down the right side of this board...patterned paper, dry embossing, and blue for the win!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG741 ...A stencil challenge!!  This brick stencil gets used a lot in my craft room.  It seems like it is my go to when adding edges or layers to my designer papers.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC795 ...A theme challenge!!  DELIGHTFUL ANIMALS is the theme for this current challenge.  The original "lady bug" was a delight animal...these "look alike wanna bees" that have invaded us...not so much!!  So...my two stamp bugs are the "originals" and are quite delightful sharing that sunflower & sipping some pollen!!  My "let's sit and sip" sentiment (meant for a coffee theme card but I just couldn't resist) is from the Cozy Cup stamp set by The Greetery, and my sunflower is retired from Stampin Up!!

INKspirational Challenges // #IC323 ...A clean and simple challenge with an optional twist!!  ANIMAL is the optional twist!!  My pair of lady bugs fit...they may be small but animals they are!!

Colorful Options // AUG2024 ...A monthly color challenge!!  Yellow and Green are the colors called for in this challenge!!  I used Stampin Up's So Saffron and Pear Pizzaz for my yellow and green!!

Simply Clean & Simple // AUG2024 ...A monthly CAS challenge with an optional theme!!  The theme for the month of August is "off-centered".  I stamped my sentiment "off-centered" under my image.

Sketch~N~Scrap // #SNS272 ...A sketch challenge!!  This challenges offers up sketch for both cards and scrapbook pages.  So whether you are a scraper or a card making this is a great site for sketches.

Alphabet Challenge // 23AUG24 ...An alphabet challenge!!  K is for Kitten!!  I don't have a single kitten stamp in my stash so I did a Google search for "punch art cat" and found a pattern for making a kitten out of punches!!  And then found a sentiment sticker in my stash (never got used because we didn't have cats) from back in my scrapbooking days!!

INKspirational Challenges // #IC323 ...A CAS challenge with an animal theme!!  Hope the layering of the punch art kitten does kick me out of this challenge!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC795 ...A theme challenge!! DELIGHTFUL ANIMALS is the theme for this current challenge!!  Are kittens delightful??  I guess that depends on the person answering that question!!  I used papers from Stampin Up, a sentiment sticker from One Heart // One Mind, and found my punch out pattern on Pinterest thanks to a google search.

Update: Yippie!!  This cute little punch art card was chosen as a "spotlight winner" by the Alphabet Challenge design team.  Thanks for the shout out on my kitty card!!

The Paper Players // #PP704 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point and base for today's creation.  Thanks to the PP team for a great sketch to inspire us!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG741 ...A technique challenge!!  For this challenge we are asked to use stencils.  I love this sun and surf stencil...it is perfect for this Florida girl.

Once Upon A Time // #OUAT25 ...A monthly challenge that is inspired by books.  For the month of August the book is LOVE YOU FOREVER.  My inspiration came from the book cover.  The wallpaper called for designer papers.  And...the color combo of blue and orange meant that I used those two colors on my card.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M475 ...A technique challenge!!  Stencils & dies are the techniques called for in this challenge.  I used a circle die and a sun & surf die on today's card.

Shabby Chic Christmas

As You See It Challenges // #AYSI330 ...A theme challenge!!  Shabby chic is the theme for this current challenge!!  I love this vintage paper that I won several months ago...it was perfect for this current challenge.

Jingle Belles // #JB2417 ...A year round Christmas challenge with a theme!!  "Christmas Past" is the theme for this current challenge!!  The Belles are wanting to see a vintage style card, so this paper that I won as a prize from them was perfect!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #542 ...A sketch challenge!!  A clean and simple sketch!!  I did some masking to keep the majority of the card free of the script stamps and kept it simple with just using designer papers and a stamped sentiment.

The Paper Players // #PP703 ...A clean and simple theme challenge!!  FRUIT is the theme for this CAS challenge!!  I used Stampin Up's Berry Blessing & Sweet Strawberry sets for my strawberries and blueberries!!

Time Out Challenges // #TOC270 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  This photo of fruit paired up perfectly with the PP challenge.  I used vellum to heat emboss my pieces of fruit and then colored them on the reverse side.  I have not used this technique in a long time and it was fun to give it a try again!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #543 ...A clean and simple sketch challenge!!  I kept alot of white space and left off any extra embellishments that I might have noramally added...clean and simple indeed!!
