Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd835 ...A color challenge!!  Yellow, green, and turquoise are the colors called for in this current challenge.  I used a stencil for blending these three colors together.  Which was perfect for playing along with the next three challenges because they all are asking to see stencils for their current challenges.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M495 ...A technique challenge!!  They want us to use die cuts and/or stencils.  I decided to just use a stencil on today's card.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC344 ...A theme challenge!!  STENCILS!!  Yes!!  This little row house stencil is so fun!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG781 ...A theme challenge!!  STENCILS!!  A popular challenge currently here in blog land.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS75 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today's sentiment is part have a stamp set from Unity Stamps that I have had for a while but just inked it up today.

I actually made this card with last week's (I had the wrong post pulled up on my computer) sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  While that challenge is long over, I still wanted to give credit where credit is due!!  #FMS691

Inspiration Station // JUN2025 ...An inspiration challenge!!  The photo for the month of June is of a rainbow carnival swing.  I thought this stencil inked with water color pencils was perfect for portraying the swirling and the rainbow color, plus I included a swing...YES!!

Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge // #SC1062 ...A sketch challenge!!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing multiple challenges.  Three challenges are currently asking for us to use stencils and this sketch pulled them all together.

TGIF Challenges // #tgif531 ...An inspiration challenge!!  The inspiration for this challenge is a gated garden.  These fantastic papers from K & Company remind me of a gated victorian garden...perfect for this challenge and my wedding card.

Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #312 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  BOTANICALS is the theme of this new challenge that begins today.  

I used Stampin Up's Wild Flower Design stamp set to create my row of botanicals.  This set is perfect for clean and simple creations.

Papercraft Challenge // #PC119 ...A theme challenge!!  SUMMER VIBES is the theme for this current challenge!!  Usually we think of beaches scenes, sailboats, and seashells, but today's card looks like my summer garden which is in full blooms right now!!  So my summer vibes currently includes flowers!!

Make My Monday // #MMM254 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is BUTTERFLY...one or more!! I picked one!!  One little golden butterfly enjoying a bed of summer blooms!!

FarmQuest Challenge // #FQCB72 ...A farm & country theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is SEWING!!  I used black thread and hand stitched the criss cross pattern on this die cut background.  It was very time consuming but I love how it turned out!!

Ally's Angles // #AA95 ...An "anything goes" challenge!!  This is a new challenge that I just came across while commenting on cards.  Who doesn't love an "anything goes" challenge!!

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS75 ...Not really a challenge just a great place to show off those items that are getting used for the very first time.  My sentiment is is getting inked up for the very first time today!!  It is from a "with sympathy" set of stamps from My Favorite Things!!

Update:  So excited that this card got picked as a "top three" over at the FarmQuest challenge blog.  Thanks to the design team for the shout out on my card...it is fun to be a BARNRAISER!!

Guest Designer @ Double Trouble #194

 

Today I get to be a guest designer at...

Double Trouble // #194 ...A Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to follow a "Summer Fun Fold" recipe...3 colors (red, white & blue), 2 shapes (stars & circles), and 1 fun fold (a gate way fold & a sentiment flap)...CHECK!!  One of my "fun fold" elements is actually a sentiment flap...with a second sentiment on the inside.  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday #673...CHECK!!  Thing 3 wants us to make a card that has fireworks.  My nephew has a birthday on July 4 and I always like to make him cards with fireworks or at least a red, white, and blue theme...perfect for this challenge...Happy Birthday, Tucker!!  

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT673 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch is perfect for showcasing fireworks...I love the trio of bursting fireworks...or circles.
