New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC368

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC368 ...A sketch challenge!!  Amy's "Whispers of Greenery" sketch has so many possibilities!!  I decided to use both ribbon and greenery underneath my plate of croissants.

                   

For my vertical panel I embossed some lace and layered up some ribbon.  I am ready for some coffee and croissants with a friend.

Color Throwdown Challenges // #ctd839 ...A color challenge!!  White, Aqua, and Red are the colors called for in challenge #839.  I thought this color combo looks like a party was in order!!

The Paper Funday Challenge // #79AUG2025 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  The optional twist for this the month of August...4 LEGGED FRIENDS!!  This darling donkey from Stampin Up seemed the perfect image for celebrating an August birthday.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 23AUG25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional theme!!  I decieded to use the theme for this embossed card...BALLOONS!!  

Stick It Down Challenges // AUG2025 ...A sketch challenge found on Facebook for cards and scrapbook pages!!  The card sketch for August was perfect for combining these 4 challenges.

Guest Designer @ Just Add Ink #JAI766

 

I am so excited to be a Guest Designer at...

Just Add Ink // #JAI766 ...A "just add" challenge!!  This week we are "just adding" a single layer card using stamping or stenciling.  For today's card I stamped my flower directly on my base card (keeping it to a single layer) and then colored it in using watercolor pencils.  To give it a little bit of character I added some scoring around the edges, breaking the score lines at the stamped image.

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI355 ...A "speed" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is LEAVES!!  What does it mean to be a "speed" challenge...make a card in under 10 minutes!!  I am not totally sure the exact time because at about 5 minutes I got interrupted with a knock on the door and when I came back the timer was at 2 hours and 45 minutes!!  But it was under 10 minutes because I was almost done when I left.

The Paper Players // #PP752 ...A sketch challenge!!  This clean and simple sketch was perfect for creating the "speed" card mentioned above.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M500 ...A technique challenge!!  Use dies and/or stencils...I used a Tim Holtz die on today's card.

Addicted to CAS // #290 ...A "code word" challenge!! RAINBOW is the code word for this current challenge!!  My rainbow dies from Stampin Up just arrived in the mail this week...so excited that I get to play with them for this challenge.

CAS Colours & Sketches // #567 ...A color challenge!!  Flirty Flamingo, Lost Lagoon, and Pool Party are the colors called for in this current challenge.  This was such a fun color combo that I just had to play again today.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M500 ...A technique challenge!!  Use die cuts and/or stencils...I used my new rainbow dies from Stampin Up.

Card #2 inspired by 2 challenges...

Sketch~N~Scrap Challenge // #SNS288 ...A monthly sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for my 2nd card.  It worked perfectly for showcasing the starry nights challenge over at TGIF.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc539 ...An inspiration challenge!!  I love the pink and purple sky behind the pines...made for a nice sympathy card.

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS555 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "In or On the Water".  I went with in the water!!  I "shopped my stash" and pulled out this fantastic die from Stampin Up that doesn't get used like it should.

Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge // #SC1075 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for a clean and simple card.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW821 ...A theme challenge!! CIRCLE OF LIFE is the theme for this current challenge.  They want to see at least one circle on our card...How about 5 of them?!? 4 punched out card stock circles and one circle sticker.

Papercraft Challenge // #PC121 ...A theme challenge!!  BACK TO SCHOOL is the theme of this monthly challenge.  August is the perfect month for a "back to school" challenge!!  A big thank you to all the teachers and support staff out there!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS700 ...A sketch challenge!!  Wowsers...14 years of sketches...that is awesome!!  I think I have been playing along with most of them...so thankful for the years of fun inspiration!!  I celebrate with you!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC830 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  The optional twist for this current challenge is "B is for ____".  I filled in the blank with BEACH!!  I used some Cor-di-nations paper for my sanding technique, and Stampin Up inks & stamps for today's creation.
