New Challenge @ CAS on Friday #316

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #316 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  VELLUM is the theme for this current challenge!!  I used some printed vellum for today's card.

I am so excited to be Guest Designer at...

Just Add Ink // #JAI765 ...A "just add" challenge!!  This week we are "just adding" a trio of colors!!  The colors called for in this new challenge are Lost Lagoon, Highland Heather, and Gorgeous Grape.  A springy color combination that had me thinking of florals.

Color Hues // #TCH116 ...A color challenge!!  Red & Blue are the colors for this current challenge and they were perfect for a Back to School card.

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI624 ...A "cupcake inspired" challenge!!  These Back to School cupcakes are just the cutest and great inspiration for a teacher card.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc277 ...A "game board" challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: letters (my embossed background is a collage of letters), school theme (lockers, letters, pencils & crayons), and red (red card stock, stickers, and ribbon).

Papercraft Challenges // #PC121 ...A theme challenge!!  BACK TO SCHOOL is the theme for this current challenge.  The bells have rung and school is back in session!!

Inspired By Challenge // #IB349 ...A photo inspired challenge with an optional sketch!!  Inspired by...Desktop!!  This photo of a desk top had me thinking of this typewriter stamp from Unity Stamps, and I used pastel papers to follow the pastels in the photo.  Today, I also used the optional sketch.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc538 ...A "product" challenge!!  For this current challenge they are asking us to use Stampin Up's Country Woods designer papers.  

Just Add Ink // #JAI764 ...A "just add" challenge!!  For this week's challenge we are "just adding" two of the three elements given.  Pearls, Pastels, and Patterned Papers...these are the three elements and I picked pastel & patterned papers.  The Country Woods packets has great pastel colors.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW821 ...A theme challenge!!  THE CIRCLE OF LIFE is the theme of this current challenge.  They are wanting to see at least one circle...I used a circle punch for my sentiment.  Oh...and check out all those "circle" keys on the typewriter!! LOL!!

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G377

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G377 ...A masculine challenge with a theme.  The theme for this current challenge is BOATS!!  I used Stampin Up's Sunrise Sailing bundle for today's card.  I love this sailboat die, stamp, and embossing folder...perfect for this month's theme.  I layered up my sailboat with some paper piecing and colored my embossing background with some chalk.

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC367 ...A sketch challenge!!  Today we have a new sketch challenge designed by Claire.  It is a fun sketch with all kinds of possibilities!!  I decided to keep the sketch clean and simple...little scoring, stamping and coloring with lots of white space!!  I used a new stamp from Unity Stamps that I won from Inspiration Station for their July challenge.

3 challenges inspired today's card...

Inky Paws Challenge // #243 ...A monthly Newton's Nook challenge!!  For the month of August they have given us a sketch challenge.  On Thursday I made a card for this challenge and cut 3 pieces of designer paper exactly the same.  I told you to be on the look out for 2 more cards so that no designer paper got wasted or added to my scrap box.  Here is my second card using this sketch and the Coffee Delights stamp set from Newton's Nook.  Stay tuned, there should be one more so that no designer paper goes unused!!

Little Red Wagon // #LRW820 ...A theme challenge!!  BE KRAFTY is the theme for this current challenge.  I used a Kraft base card and then stamped my row of coffee cups on Kraft paper.  To give my coffee cups a little bit of color, I used water color pencils.

Colorful Options // AUG2025 ...A monthly color challenge with a mood board!!  My inspiration from their color board...the blues & browns and the coffee theme.  Oh and the sentiment...This Calls For Coffee...their mood board just fits this sentiment.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS77 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using. Today I am inking up the "This Calls For Coffee" sentiment for the very first time.  I have inked up the coffee cups before but this fun sentiment has gone unused since I got this set over a year ago from Newton's Nook.
