Freshly Made Sketch // #FMS639 ...A sketch challenge!!  A fun sketch with endless possibilities!!  I took the trio of layered rectangles and created a sunrise in the salty air scene that shouts out a word of thanks!!

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd796 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this sketch is yellow (designer paper), orange (card stock), and fuchsia (ink)!  A color combination that shouts out sunrise and salty air!

Invitation/Save the Date...Repurposed

 

3 challenges inspired today's card...

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc475 ...A theme challenge!! "Happily ever after" is the theme for this challenge!!  I have started taking wedding invitation/save the date card and making them into the wedding card for the happy couple.  Our nephew is getting married in 2 weeks and this card was made for them using both the wedding inviation and the save the date card.  You can't really see it in the photo but there is an embossed ampersand behind their names and photo.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #IC169 ...A theme challenge!!  Wedding/Anniversary is the them for this current challenge.  Summer time is full of weddings and this theme comes at a great time for making the needed wedding cards.

Make My Monday Challenge // #MMM227 ...An alphabet challenge!!  B is for...  My "B" is for black and bride.  A classic black and white color combo for the bride.

Jingle Belles // #JB2411 ...A year round Christmas challenge!!  For this current challenge we have been given a tic-tac-toe board as our inspiration.  My winning three in a row on this game board: embossing (holly flourish in upper right hand corner), red (red flower, frame, and ribbon), and die (coffee cup die).

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge // #CCCC30 ...A monthly caffeinated Christmas themed challenge!!  Christmas + Coffee + Masculine!!  I picked masculine colors and papers...deep rich red and rustic browns.

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Inspired By Challenges // #IB291I...A photo inspired challenge with an optional sketch.   For today's card, I used both the photo and the sketch.  My inspiration from the photo...cupcakes me birthdays, right?? and birthdays mean balloons...YES!!  I also picked on the polka dots (embossed them onto the balloons) and the soft pastel colors!!

Addicted to CAS // #259 ...A "code word" challenge that is clean and simple!!  The code word for this current challenge is BALLOONS!!  So...a clean and simple card with a bouquet of balloons is what you will get today for this 2nd card!!

Can You Handle the Pressure // 25MAY24 ...An embossing challenge!! I used two embossing folders to give texture to my balloons.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS439 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge are Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink, and Soft Seafoam.  A soft combination of colors that worked perfectly with this sketch challenge form SOS.

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI595 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  Draw your inspiration from this photo of cupcakes...red, blue, and yellow!!  I bright combination of colors!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG729 ...A "CASE the DT member" challenge!!  I picked Vicki's card to "copy and share everything".  I loved her bright colors and it worked perfectly for the CI colors in the above challenge!!  I also used die cut flowers with a net as the backdrop.  Thanks to Vicki for the inspiration.

Papercraft Challenges // #PC106 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this challenge is FLOWER POWER!!  These bold and bright flowers make a powerful statement don't you thing?!?  Here is to "flower power"!!

{PIN}spiraitonal Challenges // #314 ...A photo inspired challenge using a Pinterest picture.  The photos picked this year are all showing a item used in crafting.  For the month of June we are inspired by FLOWERS!!  My flowers are pastel like the photo but they are all clustered together!!

CAS on Friday // #284 ...A "clean & simple" challenge with a theme!!  HUGS is the theme for this current challenge.  There is nothing out there that beats a baby hug...that sweet snuggle is just about the best thing ever!!  I kept it clean and simple and just used kraft as my white space.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC317 ...A "word prompt" challenge!!  FRAME is the word prompt for challenge #317.  both of these frames are left over from cutting out stiched rectangles...trimming around these "left behind" stitches makes for a good frame.

Color Throwdown // #ctd795 ...A color challenge!!  Red, White, and Blue are the colors called for in this current color challenge.  While usually a patriotic combo of colors, I took a little different route and used the stars but left off the stripes!!  Hello, friend!!

Alphabet Challenge // 31MAY2024 ...An alphabet challenge!! E is for embossing!!  Dry or Wet...while how about both!?!  I used a border embossing folder for the stars down the side and heat embossed my Tim Holtz star blueprint image on to torn vellum.

The Paper Players // #PP692 ...A theme challenge!!  FRIENDSHIP is the theme for this challenge that begins today.  When you have a "5star" friend you let them know how much they mean to you by sending them a card!!  Hello, friend...I think you are a star!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS638 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used a stamped image that had been set aside and a die cut that was unused for today's card.  I love it when things that have been set aside come together to create another great card.  Thanks to the FMS team for a sketch that allowed me to clean up my work space.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M469 ...An "any occasion" challenge!!  My occasion is a thank you card for a coffee date with a friend!!  Friends and Coffee are the perfect blend!
