Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC158 ...A CASE challenge!! For this current challenge we are CASEing one of their design team members, Tammy Fite. Of course you know I loved her card since it had a nautical theme to you.
Combining challenges here at the end of the year is kinda tough with so many challenge blogs taking a holiday break. So just one challenge was used for today's card.
Try A Sketch on Tuesday // #TSOT637 ...A sketch challenge!! A sketch challenge with an optional twist. The twist for this current challenge is to use metallics in some way. I used some silver metallic twin and a silver charm that broke off a bracelets of mine. Now if I could just remember who gifted that bracelet to me....wouldn't that be repurposing at it's finest to send this card to them!??!
Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS57 ...A "never been used" used challenge!! Today, I finally inked up this verse stamp that I ordered several weeks ago from Unity stamps. A great verse of encouragement, especially when someone is going through a tough time.
Alphabet Challenge // #15DEC23 ...An alphabet challenge!! S is for STARS!! I used a mini STAR die from Spellbinders and place one on each stocking and embossed my background panel with my STARS embossing folder.
Inspired By // #IB267 ...An inspiration challenge!! What fun stockings in non-traditional colors. I decided to use the grays, pink, and gold as my color combo...inspired by the photo. And of course I used stockings!! This challenge always offers an optional sketch as well...today I used the sketch as well.
ABC Christmas Challenge // #13DEC23 ...A Christmas alphabet challenge!! Y is for YOUR CHOICE!! Stockings seemed like a good "your choice" for a Christmas card.
Papercraft Challenges // #PC101 ...A theme challenge!! CHRISTMAS!! With 7 days till Christmas you would think I would be done making Christmas cards!! I am done sending that out but I decided it is never too soon to work on my stash for next year.
Shopping Our Stash // #SOS512 ...A "shopping your stash" challenge with a "Winter Holiday" theme!! What do you have in your stash with would make a great "Winter Holiday" card?!? From my stash, I used a snowflake die & a snowflake embossing folder, both of which have been retired from Stampin Up long ago. I also had these glittery wooden snowflakes in my stash for several Christmases.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd773 ...A color challenge!! The colors called for in this current challenge are: green, purple, blue, and gold. Can't see my green very good in this photo but it is pixeled in on the moon using a Glorious Green marker (a retired color from Stampin Up). I used Night of Navy ink for my blue and Rich Razzleberry for my purple. For my gold I used Gold Glory embossing powder for my stars and the sentiment.
Alphabet Challenge // #15DEC23 ...An alphabet challenge!! S is for Stars. I heat embossed stars and used a sentiment with the word "stars" in it.
INKspiraitonal Challenges // #IC305 ...A word prompt challenge!! CELEBRATE!! The blog description for this challenge stated that we were not limited to holiday card with the celebrate the season theme but could broaden the theme to events or emotions. This card was made for my hubby who just passed his first of 4 test to get his CPA license. CELEBRATE...why yes!! I am so very proud of him!! At age 54 he is still reaching for the stars!!
Sketch~N~Scrap // #255 ...A sketch challenge!! While this sketch was truly my inspiration I did shrink part of it down to fit my stenciled housed...hope that is okay!!
Simply Clean & Simple // #DEC23 ...A color challenge!! Green & Red are the colors called for in this challenge. I used Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler from Stampin Up for my green and red.
FarmQuest Challenges // #FQCB42 ...A theme challenge!! The theme for this current challenge is "decorated farmhouse or outbuildings for the holidays". All the holly is hung in this sleepy little country village! Stay cozy!! Stay Merry!!
Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS57 ...A "never been used" challenge!! Today this stencil got inked up for the very first time. This stencil arrived in the mail a couple of weeks ago and I am just now getting around to using it.

I used Kiwi Kiss ink along with Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy and Metallic Gold card stocks. I finished off my card with a dusting of Dazzling Diamonds glitter to give it a wintery snowy feel.
Just Add Ink // #JAI683 ...A "choose two" challenge!! Of the three elements given include two of them on your card. From, tree, presents, and ornaments, I picked tree & ornaments.
Make My Monday // #4DEC23 ...A theme challenge!! "Oh Christmas Tree" is the theme of this current challenge!! For this challenge they also gave us the option of a "Forest of Trees" and I used both...my Christmas tree all front and center with a forest of pines as a backdrop.
INKspirational Challenges // #IC305 ...A word prompt challenge!! CELEBRATE is the word prompt for this current challenge. I love the month of December and celebrating this Christmas holiday all month long with cookie exchanges, dinners with family and friends, decorating tree, gift giving, and reflecting of the real reason we have to CELEBRATE!!!
Time Out Challenges // #TOC253 ...A "sparkly" challenge!! I gave my trees a dusting of glitter and used metallic gold card stock for my stars...all kinds of sparkle even if the photo doesn't do it justic!! Dazzling Diamonds glitter is sure to bring a sparkle to a card...the the rest of your work space, your hair, and your clothing too!! Anyone have any tips for containing that stuff?!?
