New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash #SOS531

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS531 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this new challenge that begins today is "I'm Leaf-ing It Up To You"!!  We want to see those leaf die, stamps, stickers, embellishments, or stencils that you have in your stash!!  I used a leaf die from Stampin Up's retired Colorful Seasons bundle.

Several other challenges inspired today's card...

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI332 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the foundation for today's card.  It was a great starting point for showcasing my leaf die.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 14SEPT24 ...An embossing challenge!!  I had an embossing folder in my stash that matched my one designer paper perfectly.  I also used it on my leaf to give it some texture as well.

Inspiration Station Challenge // #IS65 ...A monthly photo challenge!!  My inspiration from Septembers photo...the fall foliage theme, the color of the barn in the foreground, along with the cream color of the wheat!!

Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge // 07SEPT24 ...A monthly designer paper challenge!!  I used three different designer on today's card!!  Not really a printed fall pattern but definitely in fall colors!!

Update: This card was given an "honorable mention" over at the As You See It challenge!!  Yippie!!  Always fun to find that one of my cards has been given a shout out!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG745 ...A "mood board" challenge!!  Flowers, flowers, and more flowers!!  Yep, that is right!!  This single photo really set the mood!  So many beautiful flowers!!

Try A Sketch on Tuesday // #TSOT28 ...A "sketch" challenge!!  I love all the stripes and circles!!  A perfect combination for showcasing my florals!!  I totally missed the "partnering" that is taking place with this sketch...I just saw the sketch and didn't scroll down to finish reading until I was posting my finished card!!  I will be back later this week with another take on this sketch that includes some punches!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS654 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the perfect layout for this masculine getwell card.  I used my new tree dies and kept the card very CAS.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd811 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this challenge are sage, burnt orange, and black.  This color combo has a masculine feel to it and worked perfect for this Get Well Soon card.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC799 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  I did use the "get well soon" theme for today's card.  My tree die is from the InLoveArt shop and my background & sentiment stamps, inks, and designer papers are from Stampin Up.

Alphabet Challenge // 20SEPT24 ...An alphabet challenge!!  M is for MASCULINE!!  I needed a masculine "get well soon" card and these 4 challenges helped me do just that!!

Jingle Belles // #JB2419 ...A year round Christmas challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "humorous Christmas".  This little chillaxin Santa is sure to bring a chuckle.

ABC Christmas // 11SEPT24 ...An alphabet Christmas challenge!!  The current challenge is to use "S for stencil", and "T for traditional colors".  Since Santa is chillaxin in a tub, he needed some water and some sunshine...so, out came my sun and surf stencil!!  Santa is also boasting some traditional Christmas color...so, that covers the "T"!!

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS66 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  This is monthly challenge that asked to see those items that have never been used!!  It could be brand new items or maybe something that has been lost in your work room or like me with 2 stamps from a set that I haven't inked up yet!!  I got this set from Newton's Nook and have used other stamps from the set but today is the first that Santa or this sentiment have been inked up!!

Time Out Challenges // #TOC272 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is SNARKY!!  Santa taking off for the beach this time of the year when he should be getting ready for Christmas day is a bit snarky!!  Would you agree!?!

Just A Little Note

The Paper Players // #PP707 ...A theme challenge that is clean and simple!!  For this current challenge we are to create a CAS card with a "back to nature" theme!!  Fall is in the air, leaves are falling and nature is prepping for winter!!

Addicted to CAS // #267 ...A "code word" challenge that is CAS!!  The code word for this challenge is "Just A Note"!!  I found this sentiment is a retired set from Stampin Up and it's perfect!!

Simply Clean & Simple // SEPT2024 ...A monthly CAS challenge with an optional theme.  For the month of September the optional theme is "signs of fall"!!  Falling leaves is a sure sign that fall is in the air...even here in Florida!!

Inspiration Station // #IS65 ...A monthly photo challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo is the season of Fall and the color of the barn in the background on the right side of the photo.  Oh so peachy!!

This card also works perfectly for the FESTIVE FRIDAY challenge!!   This "inspo list" challenge (that is honoring World Card Making Day) asks us to use 3 out of the 10 items given in their inspo list and I realized that I had included 3 on today's card!!  My three elements from the inspo list are CAS (clean and simple), enamel dots, and jute.  I almost missed out of this challenge!!  Here is to a day that honors doing what we love to do!!  Happy World Card Making Day!!  #FF0168

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb239 ...A "retro" challenge with a color palette!!  Retro meaning that the stamps used need to be over a year old!!   We were given 5 colors that needed to be included in our creation.  I used all five and I used a stamp that is 7 year old...Colorful Seasons from Stampin Up.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC595 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for my cluster of fall foliage leaves.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS447 ...A theme challenge!!  FALL is the theme for this current challenge!!  My cluster of leaves depicts the fall theme perfectly.

Inspiration Station Challenge // #IS65 ...A monthly photo challenge!!  My inspiration from this months photo is the variety of color found in the leaves.  

Papercraft Challenge // #PC110 ...A theme challenge!!  FABULOUS FALL is the theme for this challenge!!  There is something very fabulous about the variety of color found in the leaves each fall.

Bicycle Inspiration

Inspired By Challenges // #IB301 ...A photo challenge with an optional sketch!!  I decided to use both the sketch and the photo for today's card.  My inspiration is that aqua fence, the basket of flowers, and the bicycle.  

Splitcoast Stampers // #WT498 ...A "lots of dots" challenge!!  I used some polk-a-dotted paper for my dots!!  Both my background and my die cut flowers used the same designer paper.
