It is a winter wonderland out side!! We got 25+ inches of snow!! That is a really big storm for VA!! This is my 15 year old--he just flopped backwards to show how deep it is!! Our poor puppy just could not make it around--he is too short for such deep snow!!
Looks like the snowfall we got out here one the West Coast last Christmas. Had four feet of it last year once things were all said and done! It was quite the sight!! I have NEVER seen that much snow one the BC Coast -- the ocean is only a few miles away from us!! Thankfully, it was dry snow so the shoveling was a bit easier but no treat after the first foot LOL!! Great picture of your son out in it! Our poor cat got so depressed because he couldn't go out. I LOVED the silence the snow brought - can't hear the cars on the roads (not that many where out there as we have a very small snow removal system here since we rarely get that much snow) and sound just seems to get absorbed. Take lots of pictures because it will seem like a dream once it is all gone.
What fun! When you get snowed in it can be so much fun doing things with the family. Your poor little dog! We got 6" and it keeps refreezing. So when our 2 dogs go out they are slipping and sliding. Thanks for the sharing the beautiful photos. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
We haven't had that much snow at one time in Michigan in many years. I bet it was a big surprise for you all in VA!!! Isn't it beautiful when it first falls? Terrible to drive in, though. Terrific pictures!
I am married to a wonderful man and we have 2 children--a son who lives in Long Island, NY and a daughter who lives in Chicago. We live in Florida, which feels so very far away from our kids especially since we have a grand-daughter and a second grandchild on the way!! For over 20 years I was a Stampin Up Demonstrator, but in 2021 I let go of my demonstratorship. I still love scrapbooking & creating cards and have enough Stampin Up products to last me till eternity...so I will keep on creating!! Proud to be a daughter of the Most High God--who was and is and is to come!!
We got some too---although not that much! Looks like your son was having fun!
