2sketch4you sketch challenge & Color Throwdown Challenge



We are having yet another snow day--#7 to be exact. It really is a beautiful winter wonderland!! I used my Allegro embossing folder for my background, punched my border with my new punch from Stampin Up, added some ribbon and pearls to spruce it up, stamped my sentiment, from Verve, in Basic Gray, my birdie is from Stampin Up!'s Wings of Friendship--inked with markers (Sage Shadow and Ruby Red--sorry don't have Ridinghood Red anymore), I paper pieced the wing and added a pearl for his eye.     I struggled with these colors, but love how you used them! This is beautiful...especially with that music-embossed BG!

    Darling card. Love that EF - perfect for my DD's piano teacher...hmmmm may have to go find one :D Great use of the CC and I love the pearls on the punched side.

    As for the snow, send it our way!!! We are having a very WARM winter Olympics out here and could use as much as you can send us LOL!
