I created this card for the INKspirational challenge and while I was photographing it I realized it was fitting for the Library Challengeas well. The current book that is our inspiration for the Library Challenge is....How to Embroider Almost Anything. This book cover has so many elements that could be used to create a card...for me...the trio of star burst on the left side of the cover and all the mustard color stitching. For the INKspirational Challenge I drew out the gray & yellow colors and the shapes. The chair inspired my thread wrapped elongated punch out. #bethegift challenge:Deny yourself of one thing today so that somone else can have more: more of your time, more of what they need, more love.
I am married to a wonderful man and we have 2 children--a son who lives in Long Island, NY and a daughter who lives in Chicago. We live in Florida, which feels so very far away from our kids especially since we have a grand-daughter and a second grandchild on the way!! For over 20 years I was a Stampin Up Demonstrator, but in 2021 I let go of my demonstratorship. I still love scrapbooking & creating cards and have enough Stampin Up products to last me till eternity...so I will keep on creating!! Proud to be a daughter of the Most High God--who was and is and is to come!!
What a stylish card - great retro look and perfect for both challenges. Thanks for joining in at Inkspirational Challenges and The Library.
