3 challenges inspired today's card...
Freshly Made Sketches // FMS643 ...A sketch challenge!! This sketch was perfect for playing with Stampin Up's retired hot air balloon die!! I love the way this die allows you to layer up your colors...I just couldn't part with it!! At first I was thinking, "I don't have a postage type die or stamp...boo" but then I noticed that several of the DT cards used other shapes. So...I took my cue from them and played along using different shapes!!
Color Throwdown // #ctd800 ...A color challenge!! Kraft, red, and blue are the colors called for in this current challenge. A little bit country and a little bit patriotic...win, win!!
{PIN}spirational Challenges // #315 ...A monthly challenge inspired by Pinterest!! This year, each month, this challenge blog is focusing on a craft supply, and this month it is those recycled or up-cycled items you use in your crafting. My recycled item for today's card...the kraft layer on my card is actually an envelope!! I was completely out of kraft card stock but needed some for the CTD challenge above so I took an envelope, trimmed it down, and used the front layer of the envelope as my background layer!! Recycling for the win!!
