The Library Challenge #67

The title, the cover, or the story...you pick...based on the book that is pulled off the shelf!!  My inspiration came from both the title and the cover.  The book that has been pulled off the shelf for the Library Challenge is 40 Whacks by Lizzie Borden.    

Update:  This card was choice as the Librarian's choice. I was super excited when I received this message.

Here is a card that I created for the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch and the photo challenge from Sunday Stamps.

I used Stampin Up's Colorful Seasons bundle.

Three Challenges Packed Into One Card

 Another card inspired by three challenges...

The Paper Players...color challenge with some glitter!  Pretty Peacock designer paper, Blackberry Bliss ink and buttons, and Cajun Craze ink and card stock.  I heat set dazzling diamonds glitter onto my butterfly...sorry that the photo does not show that very well!!

Sketch Saturday...sketch challenge!  This sketch was perfect since it called for a circle.

One Card for Three Challenges

 One card for three challenges...

Cardz 4 Guyz...Monochromatic! I usually am not a fan of monochromatic card but I am so loving the way this one turned out!!  Thanks to the Cardz 4 Guys team for pushing me outside my comfort zone with this challenge!!

CAS(E) this Sketch...a sketch challenge...this sketch paired up perfectly with a monochromatic challenge.

Time Out...Adventurous was our challenge word.  One our my biggest adventures was a hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque, New Mexico!!  So it seemed fitting to use Stampin Up's Above the Clouds bundle for this challenge.

Fall Is In The Air!!

 Fall is in the air!! 

This first card was made for the Tic Tac Toe challenge (#tttc081) and the Mojo Monday sketch challenge (#mojomonday545).  My three in a row on the game board for the Tic Tac Toe challenge ran across the center...Enamel Dots//Pumpkin//Leaves.  I am having so much fun with this Have A Hoot bundle from Stampin Up!!

          

My second card, following this fall is in the air theme, was created for the Fusion challenge (#fusionyellowdoor).  I ended up using both the picture and the sketch as inspiration for my card.  This new Beautiful Autumn bundle from Stampin up is perfect for making a fall wreath!!

Inspired By Challenge #141

Tea time!! Or coffee if you prefer!!  I got some charming tea cups all stacked up for the Inspired By challenge.  I pulled out some cute paper scraps that didn't necessarily go together but worked perfectly together for this challenge.

A Trio of Greetings

This trio of cards was created to two challenges...  

CAS Colours & Sketch challenge...Using their current sketch.

Just Us Girls challenge...Cut into thirds

I took three pieces of double sided designer papers and cut them into thirds.  Next I layered them in alternating patterns.  Finished each card off with a different greeting, some twine/ribbon, and enamel dots.  Very simple...Very CAS...Very easy!!
