CAS Colours & Sketches // #472 ...A double challenge!!  This week the team gave us a color combo along with a sketch.  The color combo for this challenge is Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, and Island Indigo.

TicTacToe Challenge // #tttc164 ...A game board challenge.  My winning three in a row run across the bottom of the board.  Flowers, twine, and free for the win!!

Fab Friday // #211 ...A sketch challenge!  I decided to flip this sketch and created horizontal interpretation of it. 

Time Out // #185 ...A photo challenge!  I pulled the brightly colored chair and starfish from this water's edge photo.

Global Design Project // #GDP287 ...A theme challenge! By the sea!! That is the theme for this current challenge.

As You See It // #AYSI247 ...A speed challenge with a photo for inspiration!! Make a card in under 10 minutes!! Mine took 8.5 minutes.  

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS361 ...A photo challenge!  Spring is in the air and that means lots of buds blooming!!

The Paper Players // #PP535 ...A theme challenge!  Spring time flowers...my little budding branch seemed perfect for this challenge!!

Global Design Project #260

For the current Global Design Project #GDP260 challenge we are suppose to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) a card created by Su Mohr, one of their design team members.  I used the same sketch and a sentiments that said the same thing (Stampin Up's Colorful Seasons)...I also used letter dies like she did.  Thanks Su for the inspiration!!

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #053

Tic Tac Toe!!  I win with the center column...Green//Flowers//Tree!!  I love how springy this card turned out!!  I know I am ready for some warmer weather and budding flowers!!  Thanks to the Tic Tac Toe challenge for the inspiration for this card!!  I think all three element in this card...the green tree, the flowers, and the sentiment came from three different stamp sets/bundles from Stampin Up. You see...I had my craft table covered with all kinds of sets, inks, and papers and I just was putting things together as I cleaned up!!  Clean up takes longer when you create while putting things away!!!  The struggle is real!!
Update:  I was a team pick!!

Fusion Challenge//Critter

Today I am playing along with the Fusion challenge.  See the challenge photo for the explanation...
I am playing along with both elements.   The sketch as well as the critter portion...lady bugs were my critter of choice! Stampin Up's Penned & Painted was the stamp set that I used for the flowers and the lady bugs...the sentiment is from their Colorful Seasons stamp set.

What an honor to be a Visiting Librarian at the Library Challenge!!  This unique challenge site has become one of my favorites!!  Since I love books, reading, and libraries about as much as I love creating cards,  this challenge is just perfect for me!!  

The Library Challenge is a creative challenge that picks a book and then challenges participants to create a card inspired by the cover, the title, or the story.  As visiting librarian I got to pick the book for this challenge...I picked an American Classic...Where the Red Fern Grows.  The challenge started on Jan 5th and this is my second card...decided I wanted to use the "red fern" as my inspiration this time.  

I am also playing along with the "create dimension" challenge from Just Us Girls.  I gave both my base and my butterflies dimension using dimensional adhesives.

Relax Your Way!

CITRUS!! That is the cue card from CASology!!  What says citrus more than a glass of limeade, lemonade or orange juice.  Take your pick today!!  I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set and matching dies to create today's card.  I even included a slice of citrus in each glass by stamping the "slice" onto my inked glass before stamping onto the paper.  This technique removes just enough ink to leave a subtle image.  Happy stamping!!
