New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash #SOS361

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS361 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this new challenge is "A Quick Thank You"!!  We want you to make a thank you card in under 30 minutes.  I finished mine in under 15!!  Yippie!!  But when you use a die and an embossed background a card comes together very quickly.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M505 ...A technique challenge!!  Die Cuts and/or Stencils are called for in the technique challenge.  I used dies for today's card.  My card on Sunday used the stencils portion of this challenge.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB362 ...A "photo inspired" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are inspired by a "table setting".  My inspiration from the photo...the rust & blue color combo and the tied off napkin.

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G380 ...A masculine challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this new challenge that begins today...BIRTHDAY WITH PURPLE!!  I used Stampin up's Rich Razzleberry as my purple but when I took my photo it looked more like pink...yikes!!

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS80 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using. Today I am using a brand new stamp from Lavinia Stamps.  They arrived in the mail on Saturday and today they got inked up for the very first time.

Jingle Belles Challenge // #JB2523 ...A "year round" Christmas challenge with a theme!!  HOLIDAY LEFTOVERS is the theme for this current challenge.  I have a bunch of scraps from a 6x6 pad that I picked up at Hobby Lobby two Christmases ago.  I used leftover scraps from this pad to make today's card.

Time Out Challenges // #TOC301 ...A theme challenge!!  FAVORITE HOLIDAY is the theme for this current challenge...Christmas is my favorite holiday!!  I love the decorations, the lights, the food, but most of all the true meaning!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC836 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  CHRISTMAS is the optional twist for this current challenge.  Papers, rhinestones & twine are from Hobby Lobby, the holly is a Tim Holtz die.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS712 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card and it worked perfectly for combining these four challenges.  A great sketch for using up some of my leftover papers.

Festive Friday Challenge // #FF0197 ...A "inspo list" challenge!!  From the inspo list honoring "National Family Day", choose three items to include on your card.  My pick of three: patterned paper, parent & child, and masking technique (used on both the card and the matching envelope).

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC205 ...A sketch challenge!!  The current ICC challenge is a sketch challenge and it was perfect for combining these two challenges into a mother's day card.

Card #1 was inspired by 4 challenges...

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M505 ...A technique challenge!!  Stencils are called for in this current challenge.  This challenge was perfect for playing with my brand new Sweet Poppy stencil that came in the mail yesterday.

CAS Colours & Sketches // #573 ...A color challenge!!  The colors...Stampin Up's Real Red, Shaded Spruce, and Gold.  I used Shaded Spruce card stock to mat my card, Real Red ink for stenciling and Gold card stock to cut out my teeny tiny stars.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC836 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  CHRISTMAS is the optional theme for this current challenge...let the Christmas bells ring!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC655 ...A sketch challenge!!  I replaced the flowers with shells.  I also flipped it so that it was vertical instead of horizontal.  A fun sketch that worked perfectly for combining these two challenges.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd844 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in this current challenge are aqua, yellow and pink.  I used pink embossing powder for my sentiment and my splatters, Stampin Up's Daffodil Delight card stock, and a piece of aqua Cord-in-ations paper.

New Challenge @ CAS on Friday #322

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #322 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is RAINBOW!!                  
I used Stampin Up's Rainbow of Happiness die set for today's rainbow card.  The sentiment that I used is from one of their retired stamp sets, Over the Rainbow.  There are so many options that could be used for this challenge...dies, stamps, inks...you name it!!  How will you showcase our clean and simple rainbow challenge??  We can't wait to see your creations.  Hop over to our blog and check out all the detail for our #322 challenge and check out all the great inspiration from the rest of the design team.

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI630 ...A "cupcake photo" challenge!!  This cupcake photo challenge calls for "get well wishes".  The color combo in this cupcake photo inspired card #1 and card #3.  I also used the "get well wishes" theme on card #3.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS80 ...A blog for showcasing "never been used" stuff.  I am using the designer paper on card #2 for the very first time.  This paper was gifted to me from a Stampin Up demonstrator for an order that I placed with her.

Make My Monday // #MMM264 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is "birthday with at least one flower"!!  Card #2 fits this challenge theme!!
