New Challenge @ CAS on Friday #318

Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #318 ...A sketch challenge!!  This clean and simple sketch has endless potential.  I decided to go with a vintage vibe using some gorgeous paper from K&C Company.

The possibilities are endless and we can't wait to see what you create using our new sketch.  For additional details about our new sketch challenge, hop on over to our blog.  While there you will also find some awesome cards by the rest of our design team to get your creative juices flowing.

Another challenge inspired today's 1st card...

Love Those Pretty Little Papers // SEPT2025 ...A "designer paper" challenge!!  For the month of September they want to see our favorite paper company's and tell why they are a favorite.  I love K&C Company because of the vintage vibe they have.  Both pieces of designer paper used on today's 1st card are from K&C Company.

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC647 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for my second card.  I like the framed look it creates and it gave me a chance to use some of my ribbon stash.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc279 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: Rectangle (my card base and its framed layers), 3 colors (green, yellow & black), and Embossing (new embossing folder from Darice).

Can You Handle The Pressure // 13SEPT25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional theme!!  The optional theme for this challenge is...LAYERS!!  I embossed three sheets of card stock...white, green, and yellow...cut out the citrus fruits from the green and yellow and LAYERED them on the white piece.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS77 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today I am using a new embossing folder from Darice that I got this weekend.

  3. Love how you brought the sketch challenge to life with that vintage flair—K&C Company papers were a perfect choice. The citrus layering and embossing on the second card are so clever and vibrant, and I really admire how you tied in multiple challenges with such creativity.
