3 challenges inspired today's card...

Double Trouble Challenge // #203 ...A Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to follow a "Round & Round" recipe...3 circles (I used 4 circles actually...birdies are made out of 2 folded circle each), 2 images (paper pieced birdies), and 1 ribbon or twin (green/brown ribbon)...CHECK!!  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday #682...CHECK!!  Thing 3 wants us to include a bird on our card...I made 2 little chickies...CHECK!!

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT682 ...A sketch challenge!!  The TSOT team is teaming up with the Double Trouble challenge.  These two pair up perfectly!!  The combining of these two challenges makes a fun quirky birdie card.

Just Us Girls // #JUG800 ...An "anything goes" challenge to celebrate their 800th challenge!!  Wahoo...what a milestone!!  I have been playing along with most of these and look forward to 800 more!!

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS80 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today I am using a vertical sentiment stamp from Gina K Design...inking it up for the very 1st time.  Also this it my first try at these folded circle birdies...a super fun technique for some quirky little birdies!!
