Addicted to CAS // #260 ...A "code word" challenge that is clean & simple!!  Code word: MUSIC!!  How about some music note brads??  Let's celebrate this birthday with some music!!

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb232 ...A sketch challenge using "retro" (stamps must be over a year old) stamps!!  I stamped a birthday sentiment from Stampin Up's Sprinkles of Life set that came out in 2015...retro indeed!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #538 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this current challenge is Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, and Daffodil Delight.  I used Fresh Freesia designer papers and flower embellishments in the Granny Apple Green & Daffodil Delight.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc249 ...A tic-tac-toe game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row runs down the left hand side of this game board...layers, die cut, and pattern papers.

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT648 ...A sketch challenge!  The half circle in the sketch right away had me thinking of a sunrise!!  I took my paper instead of using a scallop die...I hope that is a-okay!?!

2 Father's Day Cards

 1st Father's Day card was inspired by 3 challenges...

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M469 ...An "any occasion" challenge!!  With Father's day coming up, I picked it as my "any occasion".  Here's to all the dads out there...we celebrate you!!  My second card also fits this challenge since it is also a Father's Day card.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB292 ...A "photo inspired" challenge with an optional sketch.  Today I just used the photo, and tried to reproduce it as close as possible using Stampin Up oar dies.

Double Trouble // #DT168 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  The challenge given by Thing 1 was to create a masculine card.  (My 2nd card also fits this challenge too.) Thing 2 wants us to play along with the color challenge from Colorful Options and Thing 3 wants us to upload out challenge to both blogs!  I played along with all of yall today!!

Colorful Options // JUN2024 ...A color challenge!!  AQUA is the color for the month of June.  For today's card I picked a lighter shade of aqua...kinda like the water surronding the turtle on the graphic.

Update: This card was chosen as an "honorable addict" over at Addicted to Stamps & More.  Thanks to the design team for the shout out on my card!!  It is always an honor to have one of my cards showcased!!

2nd Father's Day card was inspired by 2 challenges...

Just Add Ink // #JAI705 ...A "just add" technique challenge!!  For this current challenge they are asking us to just add a  "fancy edge".  I used a die to create a fancy edge on three of my edges.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc476 ...A color challenge!!  Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, and Azure Afternoon are the colors called for in this current challenge.  I felt like this was a great masculine combo with a beach feel...so how about some shells for that beach loving dad!?!

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC337

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC337 ...A color palette challenge!!  Use 3 of the five colors from our "In the Garden" color palette for your creation.   You don't have to use flowers but this color palette had me thinking of flowers and the title steers you in that direction, also.

{PIN}spirational Challenge // #314 ...A Pintrest inspired craft supply challenge!!  For the month of June we are inspired by flowers...a staple in all forms of crafting!! Painted & Penned stamp set from Stampin Up was still laying out on my work space so another flower card with the same stamps as yesterday's card.

Once Upon A Time // #23 ...A monthly book challenge!!  This month's book is... Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt by Kate Messner.  A sympathy card fits the title of this book in a dark humor sort of way that I usually don't think of but thought of yesterday as I was typing up that post...so much so that I did it again today.

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb232 ...A sketch challenge using "retro" (stamps must be over a year old) stamps!!  I used Stampin Up's Penned & Painted set that came out in 2017.

Card #1...

Just Us Girls // #JUG730 ...A color challenge!! PINK & AQUA are the colors called for in this week's challenge.  I used Strawberry Slush for my pink (it is retired from Stampin Up) and Pool Party for my Aqua.

Global Design Project // #GDP448 ...A CASE challenge!!  For this current challenge we are CASEing a card by Krista Frattin.  My inspiration from her card...the collage technique, the sketch, and I limited it to two color like she did.

Card #2...

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC580 ...A sketch challenge!!  Another great sketch from the AHSC team to inspire out creativity.  I used a circle "mask" and Tim Holtz's stencil for my circle portion of this sketck and then stamped a two step floral image from Stampin Up's Penned & Painted stamp that has been retired for a while.  One of those sets that I just can't part with!!
