New Challenge begins today...
Shopping Our Stash // #SOS477
Our new challenge that begins today...BACK TO BOOKS!! Use a book page, book image or back to school theme. I used a page from a vintage song book. Ever been to a yard sale and found old books in a "free" box?? That is where this songbook came from. A freebie that I added to my stash with hundreds of pages that make excellent backgrounds for cards.

Today's card was also inspired by 2 other challenges...
Just Us Girls // #JUG645 ...A trend challenge!! STENCIL!! Use a stencil. I used my diamond stencil with Marina Mist ink to create my background. This diamond stencil may be a small image but it add great character!!
Time Out // #220 ...A technique challenge!! Make your own background!! I made mine out of a page from an old songbook, added some stencil, torn some eges, and sponged on some additional ink to create a vintage look.
Card #2 inspired by 2 challenges...
Just Add Ink // #JAI616 ...A sketch challenge!! This simple sketch was perfect for playing with my new Ringed With Nature stamp set and designer papers from Stampin Up!!
TicTacToe Challenge // #tttc174 ...A game board challenge!! My winning three in a row on this game board: house (cut out and layered on stamped image), patterned paper (my house and my trees are cut out of patterned paper), wood/tree (stamped crossgrain from Ringed With Nature).

ReplyDeleteSuper use of the book page (I love yard sales and have gotten a few books) Super bright florals and perfect for a cheery thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteFun cards - I love how different they are - on bold and packed with elements, the other CAS with great white space. Lovely petite elements. Chantell Just Add Ink
