The Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd756 ...A color challenge!!  Green, Orange, and Brown are the colors called for in this current color challenge.  The photo for this color combo also inspired me!!  In real life I don't have a green thumb but when it come to cards I love playing with them.

Freshly Made Sketches // FMS599 ...A sketch challenge!!  It is always fun when you find a sketch challenge and a color challenge that pair up perfectly.

Make My Monday // #mmm207 ...A theme challenge!!  3 of anything!!  How about 3 felt embellishment flowers?!!?  I love these stitched felt flowers that were a part of the Flowering Cactus Product Medley from Stampin Up.  They add the perfect finishing touch and for this challenge I used 3 of them.

Missed It....

 Missed the cut off for the challenge entry because my daughter's family from out of town is visiting and time with the grands throws me a bit off schedule!!  But I will still give credit where credit is due!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG673 ...A color challenge!!  Green & Kraft!!  I fun combo for playing with Stampin Up's Flowering Cactus Product Medley.  Even though I missed the entry for this challenge I wanted to give them credit for inspiring my card.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS580 ...A sketch challenge!!  Paneled backgrounds are always so fun...I liked that this sketch has the panes a bit off centered.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd689 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this challenge is green, orange and pink!  I used Stampin Up's Garden Green, Calypso Coral, and Melon Mambo for my trio of colors.

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC467 ...A sketch challenge!!  This week's sketch is a horizontal sketch.  I like the layers and yet simplicity of this sketch.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge // #tttc158 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning 3 in a row run down the center of the board...florals (succulent stamp & felt flower from Stampin Up's Flowering Cactus Product Medley), patterned paper (square of Calypso Coral from Stampin Up's Flowering Fields), and die cut (catcus  & stitched square dies) for the win!!

Featured Stamper for Color Throwdown #686

Yippie!!  I got asked to be a featured stamper for the Color Throwdown challenge that starts today!!  #ctd686  Today begins a new challenge using sage green, purple, and cream.  This color combo along with the photo made me think of Stampin Up's Flowering Cactus.  Thanks to the Color Throwdown team for including me as a featured stamper.  We hope you will join the fun and play along with us...come on over!!

This card was also inspired by the sketch challenge from the Try Stampin On Tuesday blog.  Their sketch also called for "something punny".  So I picked the "life can get kinda prickly" sentiment from the Flowering Cactus set.  Thanks to the TSOT team for another fun challenge.  #TSOT548

Tic Tac Toe Challenge // #tttc154

A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row run diagonally across the card...die cut (the sentiment), free (embossed panel), gold (foil card stock used for sentiment).  This combination made for a great sympathy card that I was needing for a friend

Seas the Day Bundle Arrived!! And 2 Flowering Cactus Cards

 

Over lunch today I got my Seas the Day bundle in the mail!!  I ate quick and spent the rest of my lunch break playing with my  new set!!  I made a card for the As You See It color challenge...I thought I was gonna miss out casing Heather's card for this challenge but I got my order just in time to get this card in right under the wire!!

2 Flowering Cactus cards...

Stampin Up's Flowering Cactus bundle was perfect for creating these two cards.  This first card was made for the color challenge from TGIF Challenges #354.  The color combo for this challenge...Soft Sea Foam, Smokey Slate and Calypso Corral. 

The second card was made for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge #276.  This sketch is simple yet dynamic!

Both cards were inspired by 2 other challenges...Just Us Girls word challenge...FRIENDS!! ( #JUG618 ) and The Paper Players...FRIENDSHIP/LOVE!! (#PP577 ).

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G278 ...A masculine challenge!!  Today begins another masculine challenge..."things with tails" over at Cardz 4 Guyz!! I thought the tail end of these animals was just the cutest and perfect for this challenge!! We hope you will join the fun and play along with us!!  We can't wait to see how our "things with tails" challenge inspires you.

Time Out // #194 ...A photo challenge!! For my inspiration I pulled the colors and the "filled" circles...although I filled my with critters instead of girls. The little critters are from Stampin Up's retired stamp set...A Little Wild.

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC440 ...A sketch challenge!!  Stampin Up's Flowering Cactus Product Medley was perfect for this sketch.  The different designer papers from the medley was just what I needed for this sketch.

CAS Colours & Sketch // #433 ...A color challenge!! The colors called for in this current challenge were the Stampin Up colors...Real Read, Daffodil Delight, and Pool Party.  The exact same trio as the Color Throwdown.

 2 challenges inspired today's card...

Just Add Ink // #JAI555 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this challenge...Magenta Madness, Just Jade, and Pool Party.  For my cactus, I inked the stamp in Pool Party and then used my Just Jade Maker to add an additional layer of color.

TGIF // #tgifc317 ...An inspiration challenge!!  Using the new Stampin Up catalog as your inspiration...WOW...that gives us endless possiblities!! I picked the Flowering Cactus Product Medley and used the stamps and dies.

Fab Friday #213 // Tic Tac Toe #113

 2 Cards for two challenges...

Fab Friday // #FabFri213 ...A sketch challenge!! This sketch was simple and sweet with so many possibilities!!  It was the perfect sketch for showcasing Stampin Up's Flowering Catcus Product Medley.  I love everything about this medley...the stamps, the dies, the felt embellishments, the papers...every element is perfection!!

Tic Tac Toe Challenge // #tttc113 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on the current game board...coffee, phone, and CAS.  This winning three in a row across the bottom of the game board was a perfect combination for a friend who lives hours away but stays connected with regular FT coffee dates.

Update: This card was a "team pick" !! So excited for the shout from the Tic Tac Toe team!!
