I'm not afraid...

3 challenges inspired today's card...

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc431 ...A theme challenge!! SUNNY DAYS!!  Sunshine and sailboats!!  Sunny days are most fun spent on the water...wouldn't you agree!?!

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb211 ...A game board challenge!!  Sun (sunshine stencil), dies cut (wave die), and patterned paper (Night of Navy & Balmy Blue) are my winning three in a row on this game board.  For this challenge we are also suppose to use stamps that are over a year old.  The Verve sentiment is over 9 years old and the sail boat stamps & wave die came from Stampin Up's Swirly Bird bundle that came out in 2017.  So that makes this card a RETRO creation!!

Paper Craft Crew Challenges // #PCC528 ...A sketch challenge!!  The lines on the lower half of the card are my waves...the circle on stacked on the lines is my sailboat...and there you have it...my creative take on this sketch.

Update:
This card was chosen by the Retro Rubber design team and a "top pick".  Thanks for the shout out on my card...yall know how to make a crafter smile!!

This card also fits perfectly for the new challenge that started on Tuesday over at Cardz 4 Guyz.  Our "on the water" challenge runs for another 10 days and we would love for you to join the fun and play along with us!!

TGIF Challenges #330 // Time Out #195// Color Hues #24 // Try Stampin on Tuesday #520 // Retro Rubber #165

 2 Cards...

Card #1 was inspired by 2 challenges...

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc330 ...An "inspired by" challenge!! Be in inspired by the new Stampin Up mini catalog or on of the design team members.  This card was inspired by one of the design team members' card...Melissa Stout.  I just loved her card and decided that her card would be my inspiration!!  Thanks Melissa for the inspiration.

Time Out // #195 ...A theme challenge!! The theme for this current challenge...colored base cards.  I rarely do this any more but love the look!!  Thanks for the inspiration...you got me out of a rut!!

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Color Hues // #TCH24 ...A color challenge!!  The color duo for this current challenge is Turquoise & Coral.  I used Calypso Coral and Tempting Turquoise (retired) from Stampin Up.

Try Stamping on Tuesday // #TSOT520 ...A sketch challenge!!  We were also challenges to get messy and try out ink splattering.  I got messy (always do when I am stampin) but opted for a splatter stamp!!

Retro Rubber // #rrcb165 ...A "mode of transportation" challenge!! The catch...stamps must be over a year old!!  My splatter stamp is from Stampin Up's Swirly Bird which came out is 2016.  The bicycle stamp (my mode of transportation) is just over a year old...got it in the spring of last year.

VERSE OF THE DAY

TGIF Challenge #288 & Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #351

Today's card was inspired by two challenges...

TGIF Challenge
#TGIFC288..."Going in circles"!  I had fun "going in circles" with this challenge.  I used Stampin Up's Swirly Birds stamps on water color paper.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge 351...A Color Challenge!  Their color combo for this challenge was Blackberry Bliss, Bumble Bee, and Night of Navy.  I love how these colors blended together on water color paper!!  I used ink in all 3 colors,  some Blackberry Bliss baker's twine, and some Night of Navy card stock.

#bethegift challenge:  Grab a group of friends and serenade strangers on the street!!

Just Us Girls Challenge #530

FEATHERS....that is the theme for this week's challenge from Just Us Girls.  I pulled out Stampin Up's Swirly Bird stamp set and dies to create my card for this challenge.  Also included two feather dies that were gifted to me.  My embossed back ground is not showing up very good in the photo but it does add some nice dimension in real life.

#bethegift challenge:  Instead of buying Easter outfits...shop for groceries/clothes for a family in need.  (Another prompt that makes it obvious that they were not written this year.  With this Corona virus no one is buying Easter outfits...but instead of being blue about it...share some love with someone in need!!)

Update:  What an honor!! This card was chosen as the "Chic of the Week"!!

Just Us Girls #526 & Global Design Project #231

No one needs time to HEAL more than someone who has lost a loved one.   That is why, for the Just Us Girls challenge HEAL, I created a sympathy card.  Since I used dragon flies on my card it also works for the Flutter & Fly challenge from the Global Design Project team.

The background for this card was created with Stampin Up's Swirly Bird stamp set.  The dragon fly dies are from the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits set and the foreground of cattails was created using the Friendly Silhouettes die.  The "With Sympathy" sentiment is from one of Stampin Up's retired sets.
