CAS Colours & Sketches #453 // TicTacToe Challenge #145

2 challenges inspired today's card...

CAS Colours & Sketch // #453 ...A color challenge!! The trio of colors called for in this challenge are Mango Melogy, Granny Apple Green, and Daffodil Delight.  Such a springy combination...used with black it makes a great sympathy card.

TicTacToe Challenge // #tttc145 ...A game board challenge!! My winning three in a row on this current game board runs across the middle...white (card stock for my sentiment and white embossing powder), embossing (both dry embossing and heat embossing), and oval (oval stitched die from Stampin Up).

Color Throwdown Challenge #676 // Fusion 1.20.22

2 challenges inspired today's card...

Color Throwdown // #ctd676 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this current challenge are red, cream & gold.  I embossed my foliage and the Happiness is... sentiment using gold embossing powder and added some ultra fine gold thread for the gold.  Chose Cherry Cobbler for my red. Used cream card stock as my base and stamped my Happiness is... sentiment and coffee cup on matching cream card stock.  All three colors accounted for.

Fusion // 1.20.22 Coffee Chalkboard ...A fusion challenge!!  For this challenge we are given a photo and a sketch...use one or the other...or fuse them together to create a FUSION card.  I used both, but I flipped to the sketch to be horizontal!  I used white ink over a script embossed black card stock to give my card the chalk board look.  Finished it off with a cup of coffee and a coffee die cut that looks very similar to the scripting in the photo.

Just Add Ink #587 // Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #456

2 challenges inspired today's card...

Just Add Ink // #JAI587 ...A pick 2 challenge!!  We are given 3 elements and we need to include two of them in our card.  The 3 elements that were given...fancy edge, circle, twine.  I picked fancy edge and twine.  Stampin Up's stitched scallop die seemed perfect for this challenge along with the black twine I got for Christmas.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch // #AHSC456 ...A sketch challenge!!  The six panels behind the sentiment would also be great for using up designer paper scraps but for today's card I used my stitched scallop die to create the needed strips.

Just Us Girls #615 // As You See It #266 // Cupcake Inspiration #535

 2 Cards...

Card #1 was inspired by 1 challenge...

Just Us Girls // #JUG615 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this challenge is light blue, white, and silver.  I used Soft Sky which is a Stampin Up color that has been retired.  For my silver element I used silver embossing powder and cording.  White was my base along with the ribbon.  I love this sentiment set (also retired from Stampin Up)...perfect for a wedding card.

Card #2 was inspired by 2 challenges...

As You See It // #AYSI266 ...A sketch challenge!!  I love the angles off set with a circle...made me think of a wall papered cafe I used to love when living in VA.  So I pulled out my Cozy Cup set and created this "let's sit & sip" card.

Cupcake Inspirations // #535 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is coffee//tea time.  I stumbled across this challenge blog while comment on a card.  I love cupcakes and I love new challenges so I decided to play along.  I am adding this challenge to my list...so I will be back!!

INKspirational Challenges // #256 ...A word prompt challenge!!  The word prompt for this current challenge is GOAL!! One of the things I miss most about my kids being grown is watching them play soccer, scoring goals, being a score mom, and just enjoying Saturday mornings on the sideline.

Make the Cards Challenge // #46 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this challenge is ENCOURAGEMENT!!  I picked the "you are the best" sentiment from Stampin Up's A Friend Like You stamp set.
