Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #264 & Addicted to CAS #190

 

It is time for another challenge from the Cardz 4 Guyz team.  This new challenge is a CAS challenge...Clean And Simple!!  Use lots of white space and keep it simple...no embellishments.  My take on this challenge include basic stamping with a little bit of cardstock.  It might be super simple but I am sure it would make a fisherman smile!!  What kind of CAS card will you come up with??  We look forward to seeing your take on our CAS challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz!!  I was also inspired by the pattern challenge from Addicted to CAS.  I created a pattern with my lures...blue-green-blue-green...one right after the other in a row!!

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #099 // Color Throwdown Challenge #628

 Two challenges inspired today's card...

Tic Tac Toe // #tttc099 ...A board game challenge!!  My winning three in a row from the current game board runs from the bottom left hand corner to the upper right hand corner...fun fold / circle / bugs.

Color Throwdown // #CTD628 ...A color challenge!  Pink, mint, lavender and yellow!  I used the paper piecing technique to include all four colors on my little flower garden. Cut out this die in each of the four colors than cut and layers the buds on top of the green base...kinda cool!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #405 ...A color challenge!  The trio of colors for this challenge...Poppy Parade, Pacific Point, and Just Jade.  A perfect combination to showcase the two new berry sets from Stampin Up...Sweet Strawberry and Berry Blessing.  

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS471 ...A sketch challenge!  Another fun sketch to inspire us.  So many possibilities...seashells, flowers, or buttons...for today I am choosing berries!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG570 ...A word challenge!! Valentine!  Nothing says Valentines like a delivery of chocolate covered strawberries!!  I love that I still have some Early Espresso embossing powder...perfect for creating chocolate covered strawberries out of Stampin Up's new Sweet Strawberry bundle.

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC412 ...A game board challenge!!  This tic tac toe game board from the Paper Craft Crew offered up lots of inspiration.  My winning three in a row ran down the center of the board...Twine//Punch//Red.  

Less Is More // #LIM436 ...A color challenge!! Chocolate!!  Not only did I use it as a color in my ink, baker's twine, and embossing powder, BUT I also used the theme and created chocolate covered strawberries!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS356 ...A sketch challenge!  This sketch had me thinking about the ocean!!  I am tending to think about the ocean, the beach, sand and surf a lot lately...maybe because it have been so long since we have been out on the water.  This Florida winter as been wet, windy and very chilly!

The Spot // #148 ...A color challenge!!  Petal Pink//Soft Sea Foam//Night of Navy...Another great color combination!!  I'm bookmarking this one...I love these colors together!!

Just Add Ink // #549 ...A color challenge!  The colors for this current challenge are Blushing Bride, Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight, and Just Jade.  These colors made me think of the beach and had me reaching for my Seaside Notions stamp set from Stampin Up.  

Mojo Monday // #552 ...A sketch challenge!!  I am thankful of the dimensions given for the sketch...I may not always use them exactly but it is a great guide for getting started.  Thanks for the inspiration.  This sketch was perfect for showcasing the color challenge from Just Add Ink.  My water color paper layer has a bit of each color from the challenge in it.
