Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb248 ...A sketch challenge using retro stamps!!  Retro stamps means over a year old...on today's card, I am times that by 10!!  My stamps are from two companies...the sketchy hearts are from Stampin Up (2015) and the sentiment stamp (over 10 years old) is from Verve Stamp (no longer is business).

Just Us Girls // #JUG762 ...A "word" challenge!!  FRIEND is the word for this current challenge!!  What friend doesn't like to hear that you think that are fantastic?!?  

Make My Monday // #MMM245 ...A theme challenge!!  LOVE is the theme for this current challenge.  How about some hearts??  How about sharing the love with a reminder that "I think you're pretty fantastic"!?!

Since I used some brand new designer papers from Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration event, I am entering this card in the Never Before Used Schtuff blog.  I used the blues and greens from this new pack yesterday and I am using the pinks today for the first time. The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new (like today's paper) or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using them yet.

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G366

 Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G366 ...A masculine challenge with a sketch!!  Today our new challenge is a sketch and a fun one for showcasing those masculine stamps.  I picked this A Good Man retired set for Stampin Up and paired it up with my new designer papers from Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration event.

Another challenge inspired today's card...

The Paper Players Challenge // #PP725 ...A clean and simple masculine challenge!!  I kept my card clean and simple...lots of white space around my image and not alot of extras...just basic stamping with a little bit of paper piecing!!

As You See It // #AYSI341 ...A "recipe" challenge!!  The ingredients for this recipe are: celebrate (die cut sentiment), heat embossed (the you sentiment is heat embossed using Early Espresso powder), ribbon (pink sheer ribbon), pastels (patterned papers in pastel plaids), die ("celebrate" word die). All ingredients are stirred into this quilt patch card.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS456 ...A "mood board" challenge!!  My inspiration from the mood board...CELEBRATE & the pastel colors.  Here's to celebrating YOU!!

Alphabet Challenge // 07FEB25 ...An ABC challenge!!  V is for VINTAGE!!  A quilt always gives off a vintage feel wouldn't you agree?!!?

{PIN}spirational Challenges // #322 ...A monthly PINTEREST photo inspired challenge.  Our inspiration for the month of February is a quilt photo.

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC354

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC354 ...A "color palette" challenge!!  We have a "Peeks of Spring" color palette of 5 colors, and we want you to pick at least 3 to use on your card.  We can't wait to see how you use these colors on your card.  Hop on over to our blog for all the details and check out all the great cards made by the rest of the design team.

                                               
On my card I used Soft Sky and More Mustard ink to create a water color background but the blue and the yellow blended to much and I ended up with a greener look than I wanted.  I had really hoped to give this challenge another try with cleaner colors but I ran out of time.

Inky Paws Challenge // #IPC237 ...A sketch challenge from the Newton's Nook challenge blog!!  I love pairing up a color challenge with a sketch challenge, so this worked perfectly for the new challenge that begins today at Sunday Stamps.  I used stamps and papers from Newton's Nook to create my "Thanks A Latte" card.

Sketch~N~Scrap // SNS282 ...A sketch challenge with a twist!!  The twist for this current challenge is to use mood board along with the sketch.  My inspiration from the mood board...the colors and the cupcakes!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS456 ...An inspiration challenge!!  This challenge calls for a celebration, a party on paper!!

Colorful Options // FEB25 ...A monthly color challenge!!  Red and Pink are the colors called for during the month of February!!  I included some hearts but instead of making a Valentines card, I did a birthday card.

Alphabet Challenge // 07FEB25 ...An ABC challenge!!  V is for VINTAGE!!  I did a lot of sponging on this card to create a vintage feel.  At this stage of life I feel like each birthday makes me more vintage!!

Can You Handle The Pressure // 08FEB25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  The twist for this challenge is F is for .....!!  My F is for FROSTING!!  How about these yummy paper pieced piles of frosting?!?  Today I am using the very first embossing folder I ever got!!  This folder is over 25 years old...WHAT!?!  Crazy, I know!!  Add to the V is for VINTAGE found in the above challenge don't you think!?!

The Paper Players // #PP724 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge are Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo.  A great combination of colors that has me wishing for spring, and excited about the bright colors that spring brings!!

Addicted to CAS // #276 ...A "code word" challenge!!  FRIENDS is the code word for this current challenge!!  I was thinking for this code word while making yesterday's card but it ended up not being very CAS...so I thought I would try again today!!

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC186 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this current challenge is a little open ended because they are asking for any yellow, any pink, and any blue.  I used Stampin Up's Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, and Coastal Cabana.

Double Trouble Challenges // #184 ...A Thing 1, 2, & 3 challenge!!  Thing 1 has a "recipe" for their "Love is in the Air" challenge...3 patterned papers, 2 shapes, 1 sentiment...oh and my coffee cups are "in the air"!!  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from the Try A Sketch On Tuesday challenge blog...check!! Thing 3 wants to see at least on heart on our card...check!!

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT663 ...A sketch challenge!!  I did a switch-a-roo on the shapes and made the heart my focal point and the circle my accent piece...I hope that is okay!?!

Alphabet Challenge // 07FEB25 ...An ABC challenge!!  V is for Vintage!!  I created a vintage sepia look on my main image using brown ink, and then used that same brown ink to sponge all the edges, giving the whole card a vintage feel!
