Spiltcoast Stampers // #SSC1035 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card.  It was perfect for building a card that included these 2 other challenges.

Papercraft Challenges // #PC112 ...A theme challenge!!  MONOCHROMATIC is the theme for this current challenge.  I used some of Stampin Up's ombre papers to create my monochromatic card.

Make My Monday // #MMM239 ...A theme challenge!!  FOOD or DRINK is the theme for this current challenge!!  A cupcake has got to be a favorite birthday food...wouldn't you agree!?!

Jingle Belles // #JB2424 ...A year round Christmas challenge!!  For this challenge we are suppose to use the blog banner as our inspiration!!  My inspiration from the banner...the plaid, the gold, and the greenery!!  Oh and the ever present Christmas theme!!  

Sketch~N~Scrape // #SNS278 ...A sketch challenge!!  The current sketch was the base for today's card.  I love the layers and the sprigs of greenery.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M482 ...A theme challenge!!  CHRISTMAS is the theme for this current challenge!!  Gingerbreadmen say Merry Christmas loud and clear!!

Festive Friday // #FF0173 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  For this challenge we are asked to use 3 of the 10 elements on the inspo list honoring a TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS.  I decided to use the three Gs...green (designer papers), gold (cording and the embossed elements on the designer paper), glimmer (the embossed elements on the designer papers)!!

INKspirational Challenges // #IC329 ...A "word prompt" challenge!!  SANTA is the word prompt for this current challenge!!  I have Santa moving across the sky prepping for the big day!!

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb244 ...A "retro" challenge with a sketch!!  Meaning that we need to use stamps that are over a year old and use the sketch that they have given us.  This Santa stamp was a prize back in July of 2023 from the Jingle Belles challenge!!  You can see where I used this stamp for the very first time here on my blog.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS68 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  The background paper on this card is being used for the first time...I have used the other patterns from this new Wintergreen tablet from Hobby Lobby but I have never before used the patterns in the background.

Update:  Yippie!!  This card was a winner over at the Retro Rubber challenge blog!!  Thanks to the design team for the shout out on my card.

Colorful Options // NOV2024 ...A monthly color challenge!!  RED is the color of their November challenge.  What little boy doesn't love balloons and a puppy...especially when they are turning 3!!

{PIN}spirational Challenges // #319 ...A monthly challenge highlighting craft items!!  For the month of November we are using NUMBERS!!  I used my number die for this 3rd birthday card.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC808 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  RIBBONS or TWINE is the optional theme for this current challenge!!  How about some thin twine to tie all the balloons together?!?  The balloon punch, number 3 & Happy die, and stamps are all from Stampin Up.  My cute little puppy is a sticker from Hobby Lobby.

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G361

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G361 ...A masculine challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is Grateful/Thankful/Blessed!!  We have so much to be thankful for and we should be intentional about let those we are thankful know it...card can do just that.  This challenge gave me the opportunity to tell my hubby how thankful I am for him!!

2 other challenges inspired today's card...

TGIF Challenges // #tgif500 ...A technique challenge!!  Torn paper is the technique that is being highlighted for this challenge.  I used Night Of Navy card stock from Stampin Up and created a torn edge down the side of my card.  I used to use this technique all the tie when I first started card making...it is easy to do and adds so much to your card...thanks for the reminder to go back to the simple techniques!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC808 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "ribbon or twine".  I used two colors of twine on today's card and tied on a sailboat charm.  The stamps I used on today's card are retired from Stampin Up...I love this map background stamp, it is the perfect backdrop for nautical cards.  Oh and card #2 also fits this challenge!!

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

FarmQuest Challenge // #FQCB64 ...A farm & country challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "frozen pond or creek" and this time we were given several photos fhat could be used to create our card.  I picked one of them and simply framed it with card stock, tied a sheer ribbon around it, and finished it off with a snowflake charm.

Alphabet Challenge // 15NOV24 ...An A/B/C challenge!!  Q is for QUICK!!  This was such a quick card...when you are given an image to print, that makes for a very quick and easy challenge.  So this challenge was perfect for pairing up with the FQCB challenge above.

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI337 ...A speed challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this challeng is trees...so I picked on of the FarmQuest photos that had some beautiful pines as the backdrop for the frozen creek.  A speed challenge means that you need to create a card in under 10 mins...this one took about 6 minutes but only because I had a hard time getting my ribbon and charm to lay correctly.

Just Us Girls // #JUG754 ...A "mood board" challenge!!  A happy holiday with all the trimmings seems to be the mood this board created...perfect for the sentiment!!  And the splashes of red caught my eye on this mood board.

Inspired By // #IB311 ...An "inspiration challenge with an optional sketch!!  STOCKINGS are the inspiration for this current challeng.  For today's card, I used both the stockings and the sketch.

Alphabet Challenge // 15NOV24 ...An "A-B-C" challenge!!  Q is for Q!!  This was a quick card for a season that is coming all to quickly!!

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC349

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC349 ...A color challenge!!  Over at Sunday Stamps we have a new color palette to inspire you.  For this challenge we ask that you use at least 3 of the 5 colors given to you in the "Elegant Christmas" palette.  I picked the black (ribbon and stitching around the sentiment), green (Mossy Meadow ink from Stampin Up), gray (Tip Top Taupe ink for the background script stamp) and gold (embossed on tree in gold embossing powder and card stock as a frame layer) from the color palette.

Festive Friday // #FF0173 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  This challenge askes us to use 3 of the 10 elements on the inspo list honoring "A Traditional Christmas".  From the list, I used green, tree, and gold.  Here's to a traditional Christmas nestled in the pines!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC604 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for creating a "belted" sentiment over my forest of Christmas trees!!  The AHSC has "doubled" up with the Double Trouble challenge...check it out below.

Double Trouble // #DT180 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  Thing 1 wants you to include stitching on your card...I hand stitched around my sentiment using black floss!!  Thing 3 wants you to use the AHSC sketch...I did that!!  And Thing 2 double dares us to link up our card to the AHSC blog as well as the Double Trouble blog...did that too!! 

Allsorts Challenge // #AC808 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional element!!  The optional element for this current challenge is to use a ribbon.  I used a black ribbon from Hobby Lobby to make a belted sentiment from a set I won on my forest of pine stamped in Stamping Up's Mossy Meadow ink using their retired Lovely As A Tree.

Color Throwdown // #ctd820 ...A color challenge!!  Amber, rust, and kraft are the colors called for in this current challenge.  I fantastic fall color combo.

Inspiration Station // #IS67 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  This pumpkin spice photo inspired my own cup of joe!!  Who doesn't love a frothy cup of joe on these crisp cool mornings.

Make My Monday // #MMM239 ...A theme challenge!!  FOOD//DRINK is the theme for this current challenge.  I picked drink...a pumpkin spice latte, of course!!
