Freshly Made Sketches #523

Today's card was inspired by 3 challenges...

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS523 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch called for Flower Shop flowers...while this set has been retired from Stampin Up for several years sometimes it is just the perfect set!!  Today is one of those days!!

TicTacToe Challenge // #tttc149 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row run down the right hand side of the board.  They are...embossing, flowers, and CAS.

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI268 ...A fill in the blank challenge!!  A favorite technique of mine is______!! Embossing!! I love the texture that it adds to a project!!

Color Throwdown #689 // Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challlenge #460

 2 challenges inspired today's card...

Color Throwdown // #ctd680 ...A color challenge!!  Two blues, green, and brown was the color combo for this challenge.  I loved the woodland theme in the photo...so I used Stampin Up's Waterfront stamp set to create my own woodland scene for my card.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #460 ...A sketch challenge!! This sketch had me stumped for a bit.  I spent a good bit of time looking for the right products for pulling off this sketch.  Didn't have the exact shape but I do love how my card turned out.

Update:  I'm so excited!!  This card was chosen as one of the "top 3" over at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog!! Thanks for the shout out from their design team!!

The Paper Players #578 // Global Design Project #330

 2 challenges inspired today's card...

The Paper Players // #PP578 ...A color challenge!  So Saffron, Mint Macaroon, and Bermuda Bay are the colors called for in this week's challenge.  Of course I just had to do a seascape.  I used Stampin Up's Seascape bundle...the coral die for the Mint Macaroon element, the fishies die for the So Saffron element, and the background in Bermuda Bay (a left over card base from Tin of Cards bundle...also from Stampin Up).

Global Design Project // #GDP330 ...A sketch challenge! This sketch had a trio of hearts that I replaced with a trio of fish.  I have made so many heart cards this month...I needed a break!!

Sunday Stamps // #SS276 ...A sketch challenge!!  So many possibilities with this sketch.  You could keep it really simple or really dress it up.  I think I landed somewhere in the middle.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HS382 ...An inspiration challenge!! Pinks and Blues, bricks, retro vehicles, birdies, and flowers....a lot to pick from in this inspirational collage!!

Color Hues // #TCH35 ...A color challenge!! Pink and Navy!!  My blue might not be dark enough to be considered navy but... I love a pink and blue combo and might have to try for another creation with a darker deeper blue!!

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Time Out Challenge // #207 ...A CASe challenge!!  For this challenge we are to Copy And Share Everything from a creation by Michelle Furgeson.  I love the layers of stems and such under her heart...that was the inspiration I drew from her card.

Papercarft Challenges // #PC79 ...Anything goes challenge!!  Well I guess with this challenge every card I make would qualify!!

Just Us Girls #619 // TicTacToe Challenge #148

2 challenges inspired today's card...

Just Us Girls // #JUG619 ...A trend challenge!!  The trend for this trend week challenge...Make your own stencil using a die!!  I cute out this large detailed heart that is retired from Stampin Up.  I sponged over it using it as a stencil with Primerose  Petals ink...also retired from Stampin Up but I still ribbon in that color.  Thanks for the reminder that dies make great stencils...especially larger one!!  I love how it turned out!!

TicTacToe Challenge // #tttc148 ...A game board challenge!! My winning three in the row on this game runs across the bottom...Sentiment (love), Embellishment (metal charm/ribbon/rhinestones), and Diecut (sentiment die & cut out die for a stencil)

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS464 ...Today begins a new challenge!!  "You Deserve A Hand"....that is our challenge for you!!  I pulled Stampin Up's Treasures Of Life stamp set from my stash because it has this sweet set of hands that is perfect for this challenge!!  Today I was also able to use up some scrap pieces of card stock from my stash.  What do you have in your stash that fits our new challenge??  I can't wait to see your creations...come on over an play along!!

"You Deserve A Hand" Challenge

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT542 ...A sketch challenge!!  With an optional twist...FLORAL!!  I loved this sketch for showcasing our new challenge over at SOS and I used some floral designer paper as my background so that I had the floral option covered!!

A second card because I just can't put down this new stamp set!!

Ever since Seas the Day arrived it has been on my desk!!  Today's card show a completely non-nautical card.  The "seaweed" stamp from this set makes a great berry bush!!  I used the sketch challenge from TGIF Challenges ( #TGIF355 ) as my inspiration.
