Happy Fall Y'all!!

 Card #1 inspired by 3 challenges...

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS425 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used this sketch for a single layer card a few days ago using the masking technique, but I wanted to layer it up for real today!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG702 ...A mood board challenge!!  The palette of colors on this mood board is a combination of oranges, rust, and yellow.  Perfect color combination for a pumpkin spiced mocha card.  I won these gnome dies from Nancy (a member of the JUG'S design team) during the #JUG700 challenge celebration and blog hop.  Thank you, Nancy!!  I know these little guys are made for Christmas, but I added coffee mugs and omitted the snowflakes included in the die set.  Card #2 actually fits the color palette for this challenge as well.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS55 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  This die just arrived in the mail Saturday and I wanted to put it all together and show it off...adorable little gnomes don't you think!?!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS608 ...A sketch challenge!!  All cards have a sketch to them and for this second card the sketch from FMS was my pick.

Festive Friday Challenge // #FF00145 ...An inspo list challenge!!  From the inspo list celebrating Halloween, we are to use 3 of the 10 inspo list items.  My pick from the list: metallic thread, spider, and watercolor.

Cupcake Inspiration // #CI580 ...A theme challenge!!  Halloween fun is the theme for this challenge!  I am not a fan of spiders or bats but they do make for a fun Halloween card.

Also...both of today's cards also fit the challenge from Papercraft Challenges.  Their current challenge is a theme challenge and they are asking for cards to have a Happy Halloween theme.  #PC99

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC547 ...A sketch challenge!!  What a great sketch for using up designer paper scraps...such a great way to put those trimmed off edges to use.

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI580 ...A cup cake inspired challenge!!  These cupcake are all about Halloween fun.  And I have two litle ghosts that have come out to play along!!

Inspired By // #IB250 ...An inspiration photo challenge!!  Some spooky home decor to inspire us!!  With each IB challenge we are given an optional sketch and I usually try to use it but for today's card, I only used the inspiration photo.

Papercraft Challenge // #PC99 ...A theme challenge!!  Happy Halloween is the theme for this current challenge!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS425 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used this sketch not in layers but in single stamping and masking.  It turned out okay but I think layering the sketch with card stock and/or designer papers would do it more justice.  I will have to give it another try before this challenge ends.

Less Is More // #LIM494 ...A "one layer card" challenge with a "Hello Sunshine" theme!!  I achieved this single layer request by masking my images.

Global Design Project // #GDP416 ...A CASE challenge!!  For this current challenge we are CASEing a card by Kayla Renee.  I used the sketch, used a plain background, and included twine in my "cluster" focal point.  Happy Thanksgiving!!

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc231 ...A tic-tac-toe game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row are die cuts, any holiday (I picked Thanksgiving), and enamel dots.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd765 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this current challenge is orange, yellow, and green.

Addicted to CAS // #248 ...A code word challenge!!  The code word for this challenge is...DIES ONLY!!  My image and my sentiment are dies...no stamping, no coloring, and no stenciling!!  Dies only!!

Simply Clean & Simple // OCT2023 ...An "anything goes" challenge that is clean and simple!!  With an optional Autumn theme...not really an autumn theme but did use Autumn colors!!

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATSM455 ...A technique challenge!!  Use dies and/or stencils when creating your card.  I used dies only for today's card.

Make My Monday // #MMM211 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this challenge is "Autumn Colors".   They didn't say is was an autumn theme necessarily but autumn colors...so this pumpkin colored designer paper and black fit perfectly!!

Pretty in Pink Christmas

 3 challenges inspired today's card...

Jingle Belles Challenge // #JB2321 ...A year round Christmas challenge!!  I wrote the due date down wrong and missed the cut off for this challenge.  It was due yesterday not today!!  Oh well this pretty in pink Christmas card is a winner in my book and was inspired by the Belles so I'll give credit where credit is due.

ABC Christmas Challenge // 11OCT2023 ...An alphabet challenge!!  For this current challenge the letters are U and V.  U is for "use it up" and V is for vertical.  I included both letters on my card.  The designer paper comes from a 6x6 tablet from Stampin Up...it was discontinued several years ago and I am still "using it up"!!  And I turned trimmed the sketch from TSOT in a tall "vertical" version of their challenge.

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT628 ...A sketch challenge!!  I trimmed it down a bit so that I would have a tall vertical card, but also stayed true to the sketch.  They did give us an optional photo as inspiration but this time I just used the sketch.  No more pumpkins here...I have moved on to winter time and snowflakes.

The Paper Players // #PP662 ...A CAS challenge with a "Signs of Autumn" theme.  This CAS challenge was perfect for using this adorable little fall truck full of pumpkins that I had leftover from last year.  

Stick It Down // #SIDOCT23 ...A sketc challenge!!  I even kept the "you are invited" theme with my "Gather Together" sentiment.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc230 ...A tic-tac-toe game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board: leaves, Autumn colors, and twine.

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G333

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G333 ...A masculine challenge with a spooky/scary or bird theme!!  If you have seen the old movie THE BIRDS, scary and bird might just be one in the same!! LOL!!  For my card, I chose to focus on the birds but did give them a creepy, eerie sky to be flying in.

FarmQuest Challenges // #FQCB ...A country-side charm challenge with a feather theme.  Birds of a feather flock together!!  This bird stamp reminds me of birds fly out of my great uncles dairy barn...a childhood memory from visits to his farm.
