 Missed the cut off for the challenge entry because my daughter's family from out of town is visiting and time with the grands throws me a bit off schedule!!  But I will still give credit where credit is due!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG673 ...A color challenge!!  Green & Kraft!!  I fun combo for playing with Stampin Up's Flowering Cactus Product Medley.  Even though I missed the entry for this challenge I wanted to give them credit for inspiring my card.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS580 ...A sketch challenge!!  Paneled backgrounds are always so fun...I liked that this sketch has the panes a bit off centered.

The Paper Players // #PP634 ...A theme challenge!!  "The animals came 2 x 2", is the theme for this challenge!  So...here are my twin lambs giving a little thank ewe!!

I am so excited to be guest designing for...

Color Throwdown // #ctd737 ...A color challenge!!  Today begins a new color challenge and I am thrilled to be joining them as a guest designer.  The color for this challenge are rust, green, and pink.  The inspiration photo has a cactus theme but I decided to use a yummy birthday theme with an ice cream cone!!

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC139 ...A sketch challenge!!  This was the sketch that I used yesterday...I have enjoyed this sketch so much!  Actually, I think I have used it 3 times since the sketch was posted.  It is an easy, eye catching sketch with so many possibilities!!

Inspired By Challenges // #IB231 ...An inspiration challenge with an optional sketch.   I decided to use both elements as inspiration for my card.  From the inspiration photo I use the black & white patterns (chevrons seemed perfect for that) along with a touch of metallic rose gold.

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G319

 Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G319 ...A masculine challenge!!  For this challenge we want to see "numbered birthday" cards.  I made one for my nephew's second birthday.  I kept it simple and used my "2" on the sail of my little sailboat.  We hope you will join the fun and play along with our new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz.  What milestone birthday will you pick? 1st?? 50th?? 21st?? 3rd??  All birthday's are special and when you include their birthday number on the card it makes it even more special!!  We look forward to seeing your take on our new challenge that begins today.  For additional inspiration, hop on over to our blog and check out the cards made by the rest of the design team.

TGIF Challenges // #tgif414 ...A technique challenge!!  Use scraps!!  Whenever I use this sentiment punch,  I am using scraps!!  I keep a pile of white scraps on my desk for stamping and punching out little sentiments.  My turtle was also stamps and cut from a piece of white on that pile.  Actual...both of today's cards used scraps!!

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd736 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this sketch: yellow, green, and gray.  I used Wild Wasabi ink and card stock for my turtle details and sentiment trim, So Saffron ink for my sand, Smokey Slate ink for my turtle base, and Basic Gray card stock for my sentiment trim.

Sketch Saturday // #SS722 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch paired up perfectly with the above color challenge for creating today's card.

Update: This card was chosen as a "top 3" for by the Sketch Saturday team.  Thanks for the shout out on my Sea Turtle card.

Guest Designer @ {PIN}spirational Challenges

Today I am a guest designer for...

{PIN}inspirational Challenges // #300 ...A Pinterest inspired challenge!!  For this month's challenge we are creating a birthday card in white & gold and/or silver.  For my card I decided to use gold.  I used gold ink, gold cording, and gold card stock.

I was so exited when Deanne asked be to be a guest designer for this month.  What an honor!!  I hope you will join the fun and come play along with us.  This challenge runs through the end of the month...so you have time to dig out those gold and silver items and play along!!

This card was also inspired by another challenge...

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb203 ...A retro challenge with a birthday theme!!  Use stamps that are over a year old.  The butterflies with this are from Stampin Up's Butterfly Basics that came out in 2015 and the sentiment is from a Sale-A-Bration set that is over a year old but can't find which year it was from.

INKspirational Challenges // #286 ...A mood board challenge!!  The Spingy, Easter mood on this board was my inspirations for today's card.

Global Design Project // #GDP387 ...A theme challenge!!  EASTER!!  Because I was working on cleaning out my stash of DSP my Easter theme is not very traditional!!

Just Add Ink // #JAI646 ...An inspiration challenge!!  With Easter right around the corner several challenges have picked it as a theme.  

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc414 ...A clean out challenge!!  Use only scraps for your card.  Time for a little spring cleaning.  I have this very old (over 10 years old) designer paper from Stamping up that I have been hoarding.  Several sheets in this pack had pieces and parts cut out of it...lucky for me there are scraps large enough to create another card.
