The Paper Players // #PP724 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge are Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo.  A great combination of colors that has me wishing for spring, and excited about the bright colors that spring brings!!

Addicted to CAS // #276 ...A "code word" challenge!!  FRIENDS is the code word for this current challenge!!  I was thinking for this code word while making yesterday's card but it ended up not being very CAS...so I thought I would try again today!!

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC186 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this current challenge is a little open ended because they are asking for any yellow, any pink, and any blue.  I used Stampin Up's Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, and Coastal Cabana.

Double Trouble Challenges // #184 ...A Thing 1, 2, & 3 challenge!!  Thing 1 has a "recipe" for their "Love is in the Air" challenge...3 patterned papers, 2 shapes, 1 sentiment...oh and my coffee cups are "in the air"!!  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from the Try A Sketch On Tuesday challenge blog...check!! Thing 3 wants to see at least on heart on our card...check!!

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT663 ...A sketch challenge!!  I did a switch-a-roo on the shapes and made the heart my focal point and the circle my accent piece...I hope that is okay!?!

Alphabet Challenge // 07FEB25 ...An ABC challenge!!  V is for Vintage!!  I created a vintage sepia look on my main image using brown ink, and then used that same brown ink to sponge all the edges, giving the whole card a vintage feel!

Just Add Ink // #JAI737 ...An "inspiration photo" challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo...watermelon and the silvery glass.  I used Stampin Up's Watercolor Melon stamp set and some glittery sliver eyelet border stickers to portray my inspiration.

Stick It Down // FEB2025 ...A monthly sketch challenge found on FaceBook!!  Each monthly the Stick It Down team gives us card sketches and scrapbook sketches to inspire us.  Here is my take on this month's card sketch.

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash #SOS541

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS541 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this new challenge is "Thrice As Nice"!!  What does that mean??  We want you to use 3 (or more) designer papers on your card.  This is a great way to use up some of those design papers you have in your stash.  We can't wait to see what papers you will but together.  For additional information on this challenge and to see some great inspiration from the rest of our designer team, hop on over to our blog!!

For my take on this challenge I used designer papers to make a patch work heart.  I used Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, and Coastal Cabana from Stampin Up for my trio of designer papers.

Time Out Challenges // #TOC281 ...A "pick two" challenge!!  Out of the six words given (stitch, layer, heart, food, love, warm), pick 2 to use on your card.  I picked stitch (actually did a little hand stitching) and heart (heart shaped die)!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #553 ...A clean and simple color challenge!!  The colors for this challenge are Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, and Summer Splash.  I didn't have Summer Splash but used the closest color to it which for me was Coastal Cabana.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB322 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  For this current challenge we are to be inspired by "puffy hearts".  I love the quilted hearts in this photo and decided to stick up my own paper pieced heart...giving it a quilted look.  This challenge always give us an optional sketch as well and I decided to use it as well on today's card.

{PIN}spirational Challenges // #322 ...A monthly Pintrest challenge with a theme based of a picture from a Pintrest board!!  The theme for the month of February is "Quilt of Hearts".  I did my own little quilting on this paper pieced heart!!

Addicted to CAS // #276 ...A "code word" challenge!!  FRIENDS is the code word for this current challenge.  I used a retired alphabet stamp from Stampin Up as my sentiment and embossed some feathered friends hanging out together!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc511 ...A color challenge!!  Real Red, Bubble Bath, and Smokey Slate are the colors called for in this challenge.  A fun color combination that worked perfectly for brining friends together.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 08FEB25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  The optional twist..."F is for Friends"!!  Can you believe it...I had a "F is for Friends" stamp?!!?  This sentiment stamp is part of an alphabet set that has retired from Stampin Up.  Keeping with the "F is for Friends" theme, I embossed some Feathered Friends hanging out together!!

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M485 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is DIES and/or STENCILS!!  I love these stitched and scalloped heart dies...so cute!!  I did a little stenciling while the dies was still on the designer paper using Smokey Slate ink to create a bit of shading on the hearts.

Atlantic Heats Sketch Challenge // #AHSC615 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card and a great foundation for including these 3 other challenges.  I like that the sketch called for elements in the opposing corners.

Color Throwdown // #ctd826 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge are brown, pink, and white.  I used Stampin Up's Early Espresso and Melon Mambo for my pink and brown.  Color challenges pair up so nicely with sketch challenges.

We Love Stamping // FEB2025 ...A monthly theme challenge!!  The theme for February is CLEAN & SIMPLE.  I made a CAS card using my new stamps from Stampin Up, Terrific Toadstools.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS71 ...Not a challenge site but a great place to show off those "never been used" items...whether it is something brand new or something that has been neglected. Today I am showcasing a new stamp set that I ordered during Sale-A-Bration from Stampin Up.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC816 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  The optional twist for this current challenge is MUSIC//ROMANCE!!  I decided to use the optional twist on today's card.  I used sheet music torn from a vintage song book that I picked up at a yard sale.  The other card stock used to create my heart shaped card and the dies are from Stampin Up.

Just Us Girls // #JUG761 ...A "use a die" challenge!!  Since we are in the month of February they are also wanting us to include a heart die.  I used several heart shaped dies, including a large stitched one, to make a heart shaped card.

Time Out Challenges // #TOC281 ...A "pick two" challenge!!  From this list of words (Stitch//Layer//Heart//Food//Love//Warm), pick two to be included on your card.  I picked stitch & heart to be used on my card...a heart shaped card made with a stitched die!!

Festive Friday // #FF177 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  From the inspo list celebrating Valentine's Day, pick three of the elements to create your card.  My three from the inspo list are: hearts, red, and gold.
