Guest Designer @ Time Out Challenges

I am super excited to be a guest designer over at...

Time Out Challenges // #TOC250 ...A quote challenge!!  Today begins a new challenge over at Time Out Challenges and I am honored to be a guest designer for this challenge.  The challenge...we want you to be inspired by this quote...

"When we focus on our gratitude,
the tide of disappointment goes out
and
the tide of love rushes in."
-Kristin Armstrong
This challenge is sponsored by Poppystamps.
Challenge winner receives a store credit of $20.00 to spend at the Poppystamps Store along with an offer to Guest Design with us for a future challenge.

The word "tide" jumped out at me when I read the quote and thought right away of this sentiment from Stampin Up's High Tide stamp set.

We look forward to seeing how this quote inspires you!!  For additional inspiration from the rest of the design team, hop on over to the Time Out blog...check out their cards & read all the challenge details.

Another challenge also inspired today's card...

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb218
...A retro challenge with a fall color theme.  Use 3 of the five colors pulled from this fall picnic photo...yellow, green, blue, brown, white.  I used yellow, blue, and brown on white card stock.  My scene might not be a fall picnic but I did get the colors covered and I used a Stampin Up stamp set from March 2022.

Freshly Made Sketches #478 // Fab Friday Challenge #210

Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...

Freshly Made Sketch // #FMS ...A sketch challenge!  I found this sketch to be challenging even though it was a simple one, but I like how it turned out.

Fab Friday // #210 ...A color challenge!  The color combo for this current challenge is Misty Moonlight, Pear Pizzazz, and Smokey Slate.  Perfect combo for a lighthouse scene using Stampin Up's High Tide stamp set.

Verse of the Day:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Just Us Girls Challenge #568 // TGIF Challenge #300 // The Paper Players Challenge #525

3 Cards // 3 Challenges (no combining today!!)

Just Us Girls // #JUG586 ...A photo challenge!  I love the lite up sky line in the photo...the burst of yellows against the night sky.  I sponged a night sky and then embossed "stars" in silver.  I love how it turned out!!! And this sentiment from Stampin Up's High Tide stamp set is perfect for this challenge...just a little light is all that is needed on a dark night!!

TGIF Challenge // #tgifc300 ...An inspiration challenge!!  The current challenge for us is to gather our inspiration from the Stampin Up catalog.  I chose the card on page 120 where they are showcasing the Birds and Branches bundle.  Even though I have made lots of cards using this set I have never made one like this...thanks for the inspiration!!  This set made me think of my MIL...she loves birds and I regularly gift her with cards (she is gifted at sending letters and cards) so this set was a must have!!

The Paper Players // #PP525 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch is perfect for showcasing my new Berry Blessings Sale-A-Bration stamp set from Stampin Up.  I just love this set and the matching designer papers!

Verse of the Day:

Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah

Less Is More...One Single Layer//Dotty

One Single Layer and Dotty....that is what was called for in the Less Is More challenge.   By first look it might not seem like this is a one layer card but it is!!  The dotty starfish was cut out of the base and replaced with a brown one.  Now I have a white star fish to use on another card....maybe I'll save it and be able to use it on the next Less Is More challenge.

#bethegift challenge:  Call up a friend and invite them to share a meal with you...enjoy the gift of hospitality!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #339

Today I am playing along with the color challenge from the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.  Their color combo is...Rococo Rose//Seaside Spray//Mint Macaron.  I decided to use Stampin Up's Above the Clouds stamp set and matching punch to create my card.  The grassy fore ground was created with the grass stamp from Stampin Up's High Tide stamp set...it creates the perfect meadow!!

#bethegift challenge:  Knock on someone's door today...don't have an agenda...just love large!!
