Today my card was designed using the
Color Throwdown challenge and the
Stampin 411 sketch challenge. I love the way this one turned out!! My So Saffron background was embossed using my Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder. I didn't have Choc. Chip mulberry paper so I made some by inking up a white piece....the edges that were still wet from tearing it and the edges got darker...really cool...even though I covered up most of it with my Kraft layer. My Kraft layer is stamped using a retired background stamp from Stampin Up called Script. The butterflies were created using my embosslit folder and Choc. Chip pearls...the tiny ones!! I threaded some So Saffron ribbon onto a hat pin and added some pearls to create the cross piece at the bottom.....I layered my on top of the main panel image instead of placing it behind....other than that I stuck pretty close to the sketch. Thanks for stopping by and having a look.....Come join the fun and play along with these challenges:
