Paper Craft Crew // #PCC462 ...A sketch challenge!! I opted for sailboats instead of flowers.  I think this has been a long winter and I am ready to get our boat out on the water!!

Color Hues // #TCH37 ...A color challenge!!  The color duo for this challenge...Yellow and Light Teal.   Such a summery combination!

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc360 ...A simple stamping challenge!!  Get back to the basics.  No fancy stuff!!  Seemed like a great challenge for breaking into this fun designer paper from Sale-A-Bration...can't believe this is my first time using it!!

2 challenges inspired today's card...

The Paper Players // #PP536 ...A color challenge!  The trio of colors for this challenge: Misty Moonlight, Merry Merlot, and Crumb Cake.  A perfect color combo for a sand/water card.

Just Add Ink // #JAI549 ...A choose two challenge!  We are given three elements for for this challenge we are asked to use two of them.  This week the elements were...feathers, leaves, petals...I picked the feathers and petals.  Blue heron represents feathers element and the budding lily pads represents the petals element.

CASology Challenge #386

Here is a card made for the CASology challenge.  (#386)  Their current challenge cue card is LONG!  I cut out two of these herons from Stampin Up's  Lily Pad Lake bundle and extended his legs to make them extra LONG!!  Just a little stamping fun on this Sunday afternoon!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments #334 & Paper Players Challenge #481

Today's card was created for the photo challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments and the color challenge from Paper Players.  The color combo for this challenge was...Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, and Calypso Coral.  Stampin Up's Lilypad Lake was perfect for today's challenges.  The sentiment is from one of Stampin Up's retired sets.

CAS(E) this Sketch #361 & Color Throwdown Challenge #582

A color challenge along with a sketch challenge... that is the inspiration for today's card.  Thanks to the Color Throwdown team for the fun color combo...pink, aqua, kraft, and white, and CAS(E) this Sketch for another fun sketch.    I left the front blank so that I could add a sentiment as needed.  Maybe it will birthday, maybe thank you, maybe just a thinking of you...time will tell!!  

Materials used:  Stampin Up's Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, and Crumb Cake inks...Lilypad Lake stamp set...Lake Side dies...miscellaneous cloud dies.

Sunday Stamp Challenge #222

Here is my take on the sketch challenge from Sunday Stamps.  I feel like it is a very "loose" interpretation of the sketch since they used the word banner in the it's description.  But in my defense, I saw those tiny waves when I looked at the sketch...an sketches are suppose to be our inspiration...it is what inspired me!!  I used Stampin Up's Lily Pad Lake stamp set and matching dies.  Maybe I will get a chance to give it another try and use the said called for banners!!  Thanks for the inspiration Sunday Stamps!!
