 3 challenges inspired today's card...

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC462 ...A sketch challenge!! I opted for sailboats instead of flowers.  I think this has been a long winter and I am ready to get our boat out on the water!!

Color Hues // #TCH37 ...A color challenge!!  The color duo for this challenge...Yellow and Light Teal.   Such a summery combination!

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc360 ...A simple stamping challenge!!  Get back to the basics.  No fancy stuff!!  Seemed like a great challenge for breaking into this fun designer paper from Sale-A-Bration...can't believe this is my first time using it!!

Time Out Challenge #171

Coffee!! The Time Out challenge has me thinking about coffee this morning!!  So while I drink my morning coffee I'll post my card for this challenge.

I did some messy cutting of designer papers to create my background.  I guess I could have just used the designer paper but I liked the layering and white space that I created.

Fab Friday Challenge #198 // Sunday Stamps Challenge #240 // Just Add Ink #525

 Three challenges in one card...

Fab Friday Challenge gave us a color challenge...Gray Granite//Seaside Spray//Misty Moonlight//Bumble Bee.  I used designer papers and card stock to showcase each of the colors called for in this challenge.

Sunday Stamps gave us a sketch challenge...I also used this sketch yesterday!!  At first I found it a challenge to figure out how to make it work but ended up making two cards with it and I think I'll save it for later as well.

Just Add Ink challenged us this week to make a Thank You card.  Since I was using Stampin Up's Honey Bee set I didn't have to look for a Thank You sentiment...it have one the perfect size for this sketch.

Today I am playing along with the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches.  I am using Stampin Up's Sea of Textures bundle along with their Whale of a Time designer papers.

Paper Players Challenge #505

 What a fun sketch from the Paper Players!!  Since the shapes were unusual and I am feeling a bit stingy with this new designer paper that arrived...I made 3 cards that way their were no scrapes that had the potential of being wasted. 

    

The third card's papers looked much better flipped some the shapes are reversed.  But...I love how I was able to use all the pieces of the papers instead of having pieces and parts left that I was not sure how to use...plus I have three new cards in my stash!!  Win! Win!

3 Gifts Challenge: (using Ann Voskamp's 1000 gifts daily prompts) 3 gifts accomplished...Unpacked our Suburban with a load of memories!! Pulled off a beautiful wedding for our daughter even though she was hundred of miles away until the day before the wedding!! This weeks pile of laundry!!
