Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...

INKspirational // #242 ...A word prompt challenge!! The word prompt for this current challenge...MARITIME! This card may be more beachy than a true representation of maritime...if so feel free to remove from the gallery.

This cute little card was created for 3 challenges.  Thanks to all three for the inspiration...here is how they inspired me...

*Followed the sketch from Handstamped Sentiments

*Used the polka dots and octopus from INKspirational's photo

*The octopus fits Global Design Project's theme...aquatic (#GDP251)

The sentiment on this card is a retired set from Stampin Up and the octopus is from Stampin Up's Sea of Textures bundle.  I am loving how this card turned out!

#bethegift challenge: Help a neighbor with weeding their flower bed or garden...it will be a gift to them and you will enjoy the beauty as well!!

Sunday Stamps Challenge #234 & Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #248

Red, White & Blue

Going in circles!!  Yep some times life feels that way!!  Thankful that I have Jesus to keep me centered even when life makes you feel like you are just going in circles.  I created today's card for my nephew whose birthday was yesterday!! I'm guessing since he turned 20 yesterday he is opposed to us still calling him "our little firecracker".  The "going in circles" sketch from Sunday Stamps was the inspiration for his card.   And since his birthday falls on July 4th the Red, White, and Blue challenge from Cardz 4 Guyz was perfect!

#bethegift challenge:  Spend a bit of time picking up trash at a public park...#bethegift in your country today!

Today I am posting from Jacksonville...my husband and aunt are running a 15K this morning!!  Notice I did not mention myself...I am not a runner!!  I am a stamper//card marker!!  So...here is my card for the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches and the color challenge from the Color Throwdown challenge.

#bethegift challenge: Text three people  that might just need a smile today...you never know how you'll brighten their day!!

INKspirational Challenge #208 & Global Design Project #230

The INKspirational word prompt this week was LEAP.  Stampin Up's By the Dock bundle has this cute little leaping frog...perfect for today's card.  Nothing says LEAP like a tree frog...trust me I know!!  Lately every time I open my front door a little tree frog jumps in...oh the joys of spring time in Florida!!  I just realized that this card also works perfectly for the "die in lay" challenge from

"Less Is More" Challenge #410

The "Less Is More" current challenge is a color challenge...Coral and Blue.  I am using Stampin Up's Sea of Textures stamp set with matching dies.  This octopus stamp is one of my favorites...not sure why cause they are kinda of creepy creatures but this guy is just so stinking cute!!

I'm getting this posted at the very last minute!!  Have had my card made for several days but post date kinda crept up on me.  The CAS(E) this Sketch challenge had a fun sketch this week...made me think of the water!!  And thinking for the water makes me think of this stamp set that I love from Stampin Up...Sea of Textures.  While the images are awesome, the best part is having matching dies!!
