Just Add Ink // #JAI628 ...A color challenge!!  Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, and Petal Pink are the colors chosen for this challenge.  I had so much fun with these colors yesterday that I just had to play along again today.

Card #2 inspired by 2 challenges...

As You See It // #AYSI287 ...A recipe challenge!!  The ingredients called for on this recipe card are: masculine card, blues, twine, die cut, and earth tones.  I can put a check mark beside each of the ingredients called for, and as a result I have a great masculine card to add to my stash.

Just Us Girls // #JUG657 ...A word challenge!! FENCE is the word of the week.  As soon as I saw this challenge I knew I wanted to use a fence die, and that this challenge would pair perfectly with the recipe challenge from As You See It.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS560 ...A sketch challenge!!  I love the "portal" effect this sketch has!!  Of course, with that in mind, I went straight for my Seas the Day set from Stampin Up.

Just Add Ink // #JAI628 ...A color challenge!! Rich Razzelberry, Bermuda Bay, and Petal Pink.  An underwater color combo for sure!!

Card #2 inspired by 1 challenge...

Addicted to CAS // #232 ...A code word challenge!!  SYMPATHY!!  I love this sentiment set and matching dies that I picked up on clearance at Hobby Lobby...perfect for this CAS challenge!!  No card stock wasted here!!  I used the negative space/image leftover from another card, and layered a piece of designer paper behind it.  Next, I used a scrap of matching Wisteria Wonder for the sentiment, and finished it off with some ribbon.

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT580 ...A sketch challenge!!  We were also given the optional twist of...FLIGHT!!  I decided to use a hot air balloon to cover that twist!!

Update:  The above card was chosen at a "top 3" pick over at Try Stampin On Tuesday!!  Thanks to the design team for choosing my card!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #494 ...A color challenge!!  Pear Pizzaz, Rich Razzleberry, and Mint Macaron!! Yesterday I used this great combo of colors but my card was not very CAS!!  So...today I followed up with another card for this great color combo that is a CAS card!!

Global Design Project //  #GDP367 ...A theme challenge!!  TREE is the theme for this current challenge!!  A Christmas tree seemed like the prefect "tree" for this time of year!!

Global Design Project // #GDP367 ...A theme challenge!!  TREE!!  Of course with Christmas right around the corner I thought of Christmas trees!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #494 ...A color challenge!!  Pear, Pizzaz, Rich Razzleberry, and Mint Macaron.  I had this color trio in my head from seeing the post and thought "oh it would be perfect for the tree theme I am working on"!!  Totally missed that I had seen it on a CAS challenge blog!!  Yikes...not very CAS but I am still sharing it!!  I will try and come back with a CAS version as well!!

Update:  This card was chosen as a "top 3" by the Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge team.  What an honor!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG656 ...A wild card challenge!!  The wild card for this week...Holiday Gift Tags!!  Every year we need a bunch of these and I end up buying them instead of making them because of leaving it to the last minute...not this year!!  Thanks for the challenge and for getting me started!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc392 ...A question challenge!!  What would you do without black ink??  My answer...use patterned papers and a sentiment embellishment!!  Black ink is a staple most of the time but some really great things can be made without it.  Thanks for helping us work outside the box.

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G308 ...A masculine challenge!!  Our challenge for you is to make a card with poppies on it (or a remembrance theme).  At first this might sound like a great challenge...masculine card and flowers?!?  But our design team has some great examples for you!!  So hop on over to our blog and play along with us!!  We look forward to seeing your take on this challenging challenge!!

Poppies//Remembrance #C4G308

For my take on this challenge, I used poppies as an overlay on stripes of masculine colors, added some hemp for a rustic feel, and a DAD sentiment to make it all the way masculine.  I hope you take up this challenge and play along with us for the #C4G308 Poppies//Remembrance challenge.

The Paper Players // #PP615 ...A tic-tac-toe challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board: masculine (dad sentiment and colors), texture (hemp), and embellishments (mini pearls).

Retro Rubber // #rrcb194 ...A theme challenge!! "It's the 90's" is the theme for this challenge using the colors teal, orange, rust, and sage.  We are also asked to use stamps over a year old.  The poppies on my card are from a background stamp that I owned before we moved to FL over eight years ago...so CHECK on that part of the challenge.  There seems to be an issue with their blog this morning and I can't attach the challenge photo but my card mirrors it.  Technical issues with their platform but here it is....

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC128 ...A color challenge!!  The colors for this challenge are Basic Black, Basic Gray, Gorgeous Grape, and Pumpkin Pie.  This color combo screams for another Halloween card but I am done with those so I decided to make it into a birthday card...I love how it turned out!!
