As You See It Challenge #218 & Just Us Girls Challenge #521
I love the speed challenges from As You See It....create a card in under 10 minutes and use the photo as inspiration. 9minutes is what it took to make this card. I used a punch for the circles and here is the story behind the background...I spilled coffee on my work station several days ago and decided to keep the card stock that it splashed on because I thought it might make a cool card. Yep I was right...and it was perfect for the Shades of Brown photo. Since the Just Us Girls challenge called for a bow I decided to dress up my coffee cup with one so that I could enter this card in that challenge as well.
Oh yes, a coffee themed card is just perfect for the Shades of Brown aspect of the challenge. It was a real bonus to have an authentically stained piece of DIY DSP to play with! Your generous twine bow is a great finishing touch. Thanks for playing along with us again at As You See It Challenge.
Spilled coffee on cardstock, just before a shades of brown speed challenge? Now that's what I call serendipity!! Just perfect timing, dj! Good thing you decided to keep it! I love the punched circles you used as well. Thanks for getting your adrenaline pumping with our speed stamping challenge at As You See It Challenges!
I am married to a wonderful man and we have 2 children--a son who lives in Long Island, NY and a daughter who lives in Chicago. We live in Florida, which feels so very far away from our kids especially since we have a grand-daughter and a second grandchild on the way!! For over 20 years I was a Stampin Up Demonstrator, but in 2021 I let go of my demonstratorship. I still love scrapbooking & creating cards and have enough Stampin Up products to last me till eternity...so I will keep on creating!! Proud to be a daughter of the Most High God--who was and is and is to come!!
