New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC328

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC328 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch has us "Going In Circles"!!   A circle of honeycomb, a circle for my sentiment, and a punched out bee for my third circle...a trio of circles was perfect for showcasing my new Bee My Valentine set from Stampin Up!!

Today's card was also inspired by...

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M460 ...A technique challenge!!  For this current challenge we are to use stencils and/or die cut!!  For card number one I used die cuts and for card number two I used a stencil for my background.

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI316 ...A "fill in the blank" challenge!!  My latest craft purchase is...STAMPS!!  I couldn't resist Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration this year!!  Bee My Valentine was one of the sets that I ordered!!  Card number two is also a new stamp set from Unity Stamps.  I mean really...I don't need anymore stamps but I just couldn't resist!!

Card #2 was inspired by 4 challenges...

Alphabet Challenge // 26JAN2024 ...An alphabet challenge!!  V is for Vogue!!  I love this little fashionista stamp...she looks like she just stepped out of TJ Maxx!!  She is especially styling in her matching paper pieced jacket and socks!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS430 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in this current challenge...Night of Navy, Berry Burst, and Pretty Peacock.  A perfect color combination for my fashionista!!

Global Design Project // #GDP430 ...A sketch challenge!!  A fun sketch for today's card...a great starting point for my creation!!  I did flip the sketch so that my fashionista would fit.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC308 ...A designer's choice challenge!!  Martha picked "paper pieceing" as choice for this challenge...a fun technique to play with!!

Jingle Belles // #JB2323 ...A year round Christmas challenge!! For this current challenge there is a "hard candy" theme.  I picked candy canes!!  

Just Us Girls // #JUG704 ...A color challenge!!  RED & GREEN are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  I used Stampin Up's Real Red and Garden Green.

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI311 ...A "recipe" challenge!!  The ingredients called for in this "recipe" are Holiday, embossing, ribbor or twine, die cut, and patterned paper.  I put a check by each ingredient and completed the "recipe"!

Colorful Options // NOV2023 ...A color challenge!!  RED is the color for November!!  Stampin Up's Real Red fit the bill for this current challenge.

INKspirational Challenges #IC302 ...A mood board challenge!!  All those cupcakes, cookies, and candies need bakers to bring it together and my little duo of mice are ready for the challenge and ready to WHISK everyone a very merry Christmas!!

CAS Colours and Sketches #392// Paper Craft Crew Challenge #397 // As You See It Challenge #236

This card was inspired by 3 challenges...

CAS Colours and Sketches...This week we were given a sketch challenge.  The "wreath" die from Stampin Up's Birds and Branches was perfect for this sketch.

Paper Craft Crew Challenge...The current challenge is a color challenge.  We were suppose to pick 3 of the 4 colors called for.  I used Stampin Up's...Calypso Coral//Wild Wasabi//Crushed Curry.

As You See It...Brisk butterflies!!  This challenge is a speed challenge.  Our cards/projects needed to be created in under 10 mins.  This card barely made it!! 9:50...just 10 seconds less than 10 mins!!  Inking embossed paper...wiping it off...tearing card stock...die cutting my sentiment...stamping the butterflies and punching them out...adding rhinestones.... It all took longer than I thought it would!!

As You See It Challenge #235 & INKspirational Cahllenge #223

This card was created for two challenges...

INKspirational Challenge #223...Angle It!!  So this card has several angles in it...the zig zag stitching, the die stitched stripes are angled of on the ends, and then the "perfect" sentiment die.

As You See It Challenge #235...Sew Good!!  This challenge had me doing some hand stitching!  I was inspired by the zig zag from the photo.

The Paper Players...color challenge with some glitter!  Pretty Peacock designer paper, Blackberry Bliss ink and buttons, and Cajun Craze ink and card stock.  I heat set dazzling diamonds glitter onto my butterfly...sorry that the photo does not show that very well!!

Today I am playing along with two challenges.  The sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches and the "favorite color duo" challenge from As You See It.  My favorite color duo is brown with a pastel...like today I am using brown and teal.

Here is my take on the Tic Tac Toe challenge.  For the current game board I am playing my three is a row down the right side...balloons//any shape die//free.

As You See It Challenge #232 & Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #346

Sunflowers!!  One of my favorite flowers!!  The challenge from the Hand Stamped Sentiments team was a photo challenge with all kinds of fall scenes including a beautiful sunflower.  The As You See It team has a color challenge (Bermuda Bay//Crushed Curry//Cajun Craze) for us and the color badge includes a sunflower.  So....Sunflowers it is!!  I am using Stampin Up's Painted Harvest set.  Even though it is retired it will always be a favorite of mine...maybe because we used this set for my daughters wedding.

Here is my take on the sketch challenge from As You See It.  I am using Stampin Up's Honey Bee stamp set and the Bumble Bee designer papers.  A perfect little card for a bee keeper.

#bethegift challenge:  Order a pizza and have it delivered to a hospital as a thank you to the nurses and doctors that are working so hard.

As You See It Challenge #230 & Sunday Stamps Challenge #235

Speed Challenge...gotta love that!!  Make a card in under 10 minutes!!  My card for the As You See It timed challenge with a trio of something (for me it was balloons...a punch made that happen very quickly) was completed in 6 minutes and 23 seconds.  Yahoo!!
   
This designer paper that has long since been retired from Stampin Up (yes...I am a hoarder when it comes to paper) was perfect for the color combo for the Sunday Stamps challenge.

Fusion Challenge 6.25 // Global Design Project #247 // As You See It Challenge #229

Summer Time...Vacation...Stampin Therapy!!! This card is all those things rolled into one.  The As You See It challenge called for VACATION and it reminded me of the vacation that we road tripped it up to Maine and visited all the light houses along the way.   The Global Design Project (#GDP247) called for SUN FUN and this card totally portrays a day of fun in the sun!!  I also used the sketch and photo (color theme & gingham) both from the Fusion Challenge.
