TGIF Challenge #301 & Addicted to CAS #190

Mad About Plaid! That is the designer take over challenge from TGIF challenges.  Thanks Stesha Bloodhart for the inspiration.  I created a CAS card for this challenge...Clean and Simple!!  

And...Pattern!! What says pattern more than a piece of plaid designer paper?? Right?!? So this card is also perfect for the Addicted to CAS challenge...PATTERN!!

Inspired By // #IB159 ...A photo challenge & sketch challenge!  Today I used both the sketch and the photo.  I loved them both and they went so good together!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG569 ...A wild card challenge!  This week we are MASKING!  I used the masking technique to give my love birds a layered look and to surround them with leaves.

Tic Tac Toe // #tttc098 ...A game board challenge!!  My three in a row for the win runs across the bottom.  Sentiment//Happy Anniversary...Embellishments//Ultra mini pearls for the eyes...Dies//the branch and the stitched oval.

CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #405 & Just Add Ink #539

I am so sad to see the CAS(E) this Sketch blog close down!!  This may been their last challenge ( #405 ) but I have many of their sketches saved....this blog has been a great source of inspiration over the years!!  405 challenges...that is alot of inspiration!!  I wish them all the best as life takes each of the in another direction!!

My take on the sketch is a birthday card that I made for my son-in-laws birthday!!  He love giraffes and while I have mostly used this stamp on birthday cards I just couldn't resist using it for his birthday this year!!  

The Just Add Ink Challenge ( #JAI539) also inspired today's card.  Their challenge this week was to choose two...border//bow//banner.  I choose to use the border and the bow.  Well actually a trio of bows!!  And for my border I used my score board to create a lined border down the side of my card.

Fusion Challenge 1.21.21 // CASology Challenge #382 // Paper Craft Crew Challenge #411

 3 different cards for 3 different challenges...

Fusion // Flowers 1.21.21 ...A sketch and/or photo challenge!  I usually try and create a fusion card using both options and fusing them together.  But this week I just used the photo as my inspiration!!  All the dies that I used on this card are retired from Stampin Up...some things are just hard to say good bye to!! The sentiment and embossing folder are available in the current catalog.

CASology // #382 ...A cue card challenge!  Our cue card this week is...UNITE!! Nothing says unite like becoming Mr & Mrs.  I love the wedding card that I creating using Stampin Up's Monogram Messages stamp set.  It is a simple card that went together very quickly but still has an elegant feel!

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC411 ...A sketch challenge!  Here is my take on the vertical sketch challenge from the Paper Craft Crew.  I used one of the shells that I created yesterday but didn't use....I inked up my embossing folder with white ink and embossed the ink & shell images onto Night of Navy cards stock.  I love the way these shells turned out!!

Color Throwdown Challenge #627 & Freshly Made Sketches #470

 Today's card was inspired by two challenges...

Color Throwdown // #CTD627 ...A color challenge!!  This week the trio of colors given for this challenge was Navy, Pink, and Gray!!  I used Night of Navy, Blushing Bride, and Smokey Slate from Stampin Up.  These colors made me think of the ocean--so the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set was what came off my shelf.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS470 ...A sketch challenge!!  This simple sketch was super fun to work with!!  So many possibilities!  A cluster of seashells seemed perfect for each corner!!

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #404 // Global Design Project #276

 Two cards for two challenges...

CAS Colours & Sketches // #CC&S404 ...A sketch challenge!  I thought this sketch worked perfect for a little berry patch!!  I think normally I would have right away seen it as a good aquatic sketch but I had the Berry Blessing set on my mind!!  I have had so much fun playing with this new set from Stampin Up's Sale-a-bration set.

Global Design Project // #GDP276 ...A CASE challenge!! Copy and selectively edit a card from another designer...this week our challenge is to CASE Connie Collins.  I love her card!!  Here is what inspired my card....embossing and die cut background//layered foreground//hello die cut sentiment in the lower right hand corner.  Instead of flowers I used Stampin Up's new Friends Are Like Seashells bundle.

 Two challenges inspired today's card...

As You See It // #AYSI242 ...A sketch challenge!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing Stampin Up's Treasures Of Life stamp set that is in their new mini catalog.  I love this set but every time I make a card using it I really miss my grand daughter that is living hundreds of miles away!!  Lucky for me her parents are great at sending photos and videos.  

The Spot // #147 ...A theme challenge! Get You Your Heart On!  Again...this stamp set!! Gets my heart on!!
