The Color Throwdown // #ctd664 ...A color challenge!! Turquoise, Brown, and Kraft!!  I love this combo!! Back when I first started stamping it was my go to color combo!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS374 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for working at using up my stash of designer papers!!  That has been my project this summer!!

The Paper Players #562 // Inspired By #191 // Shopping Our Stash #456

 Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...

The Paper Players // #PP562 ...A color challenge!! The team gave us three colors and allowed us to pick the fourth...Pumpkin Pie, Pale Papaya, Early Espresso and my pick...Pear Pizzazz.  I cut out 5 Pale Papaya ovals and sponged them with Pumpkin Pie ink...embossed my leaf blue print with Early Espresso embossing powder...masked the areas around the leaf and sponged the inside with all the colors...layered my pumpkin with an Early Espresso stem and Pear Pizzazz foliage...finished it off with some more sponging (blueprints are always a smeary mess) and a Early Espresso baker's twine bow.

Update:  This card made the "cut above" list on the Paper Players blog!!  What an honor...thanks for the shout out!!

Inspired By // #IB191 ...A photo challenge!!  My inspiration from this photo...the leaves and the colors!!  I just love this time of year with all the changing of the colors and the cooling down of the evening air.

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC447 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch said we could use any shape but I love butterflies...so butterflies it was!!

Just Add Ink // #JAI575 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this challenge...Polished Pink, Soft Succulents and Gold.  I used gold embossing powder for my small butterflies and for the splattered background.
