Happy Mother's Day

Today my card is a combinations of the SCS color challenge and Julee's Mojo Monday's sketch challenge.  My hubby and I were away all weekend and it has taken a while to get back into the swing of things.  Stampin' has had to take a back burner--but I had to take alittle time today!! This Mother's day card was created using stamps from Inkadinkado and a retired Stampin Up set called Mother and Child.  I used the colors: Pirouette Pink, Rose Red, Basic Gray.  The tag was punched out useing the CM tag punch and then stamped.  The flowers to the left are stamp with gray in on pink paper and then cut out--the actual rose portions were stamped with Rose Red ink onto Rose Red cardstock--cut out and then layered.  The sentiment on the tag reads: All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my mother.  This is a great quote from Abraham Lincoln and I completely agree with what he says!!  Here to all the moms and moms to be!!
