New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS538 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this challenge is STARS!!  From my stash, I dug out this designer paper from Stampin Up that retired many years ago but I have been hoarding.  It is a real party on the paper and perfect for adding some star enamel embellishments.  And because of the STAR theme I knew I wanted to use this cute stamp from Colorado Craft Company.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC610 ...A "sketch" challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing my STARS for the new challenge that begins today at Shopping Our Stash.  The layout was exactly what I needed for using this party bannered papers for my congratulation card.

Just Add Ink // #JAI733 ...A "choose two" challenge!!  From the 3 elements given, choose 2 to use on your card!  The 3 elements that are given for this current challenge are Reindeer, Santa, or Elves.  I picked Reindeer & Santa as my two.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC812 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  The optional theme for this current challenge is...USE YOUR DIES!!  I have used my Tim Holtz's reindeer & holly die as an accent to the corner of my Penny Black winter scene stamp.  I wish my photo was better and you could see Stampin Up's dazzling diamonds glitter in the trees and on the roofs.

3 challenges inspired today's card...

Inspired By Challenges // #IB316 ...A "photo inspired" challenge with an optional sketch!!  For today's card, I used both the photo and the sketch.  Inspired by gold and silver...layered my snowflakes using fold card stock, a silver brad, and a gold enamel dot!!  What a fun challenge, I don't usually pair gold and silver together but it does make a stunning combination!!

Addicted to CAS // #273 ...A "code word" challenge!!  BRRR is the code word for this current challenge!!  Nothing says BRRR like the falling of snowflakes!!  An the metallic papers used give today's card a very cold feel...BRRR!!

CAS on Friday // #299 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is NEW YEAR!!  The silver and gold color combo of this card had me ready to celebrate the coming New Year!!  Here's to the ending of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 with all the new things that will come!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC609 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for my card.  It was perfect for building a card that included these 3 other challenges.

Double Trouble Paper Crafting // #181 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  Thing 1 says that it is "up to you" to pick an occasion...I picked birthday!!  Thing 2 want you to pair up with a pervious partner...I picked Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  Thing 3 was this to be a "yearly wrap up" and include some ribbbon or twine...I picked black gingham ribbon and made a bow.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M483 ...A theme challenge!!  BIRTHDAY is the theme for this current challenge!!  Cupcakes, anyone?!?

Make My Monday // #MMM241 ...A technique challenge!!  The technique asked for in this current challenge...stitching (real or faux). Faux it is for me today...I used my stitched dies!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgif505 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme this week is THANK YOU!!  They would like us to make and send thank you cards.  As a crafter, I often get caught up in the making, not the sending!!  I am thankful for a reminder to send out a card!!  I made this card to send to my pastor.

Allsorts Challenges // #AC812 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  USE YOUR DIES is the optional twist for this current challenge.  I used Stampin Up's  stitched boarder die to frame in my flowers that I stamped using their Ringed With Nature stamp set.

Sketch~N~Scrap // #SNS279 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for building my card for the FQCB challenge!!  The layers called for in this sketch were perfect for my "pathway" card.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS666 ...A sketch challenge!!  A fun sketch for playing with these cute bees from Stampin Up's Bee My Valentine bundle.  I just replaced the circles with two bees and two sets of honeycomb.

{PIN}spirational Challenges // #320 ...A monthly Pinterest inspired challenge!!  This year the challenge has given us monthly "craft supplies" as our inspiration but for the month of December it is an "anything goes" challenge.  The craft supplies I used for today's challenge...dies, vellum, punches, and inks.

CAS on Friday // #299 ...A clean and simple theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge...NEW YEAR!!  Here's to celebrating the arrival of 2025!!  CHEERS!!  I hopt that 2025 brings each of you blessings, happiness, and good health!!

INKspirational Challenges // #IC331 ...A "technique" challenge!!  Use Stencils!!  I used several different stencils to complete today's card.  I love layering up different stencils to create a collage type image.  Great technique to showcase for this challenge.

Splitcoast Sketch Challenge // #SSC1039 ...A "sketch" challenge!!  When I saw this sketch I knew it would work perfectly for the idea I had of layering up different stencils!!

Color Hues // #TCH100 ...A color challenge!!  Blue (Night of Navy) & Purple (Highland Heather) are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  This color combo was perfect for creating a "silent night"!!

Word Art Wednesday // #679-680 ...A verse challenge!!  The verse for this current challenge is John 3:16.  God sent His son and wise men still seek Him!!

Jingle Belles // 2024 Wrap Up ...A year round Christmas challenge!!  This is the wrap up 2024 and the beginning of my stash for 2025.  Thanks for this great challenge that keeps me build my Christmas stash so that come December I am not rushing to make cards.
