Guest Designer @ Double Trouble #225

 

Today I am a guest designer at...

Double Trouble // #225 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to follow a "Sweet Surprise" recipe...3 layers (yellow mat, embossed white and images), 2 images (butterfly and mushrooms), and 1 aperture (shaker with micro beads)...CHECK!!  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday #704...CHECK!!  Thing 3 wants us to fill in our aperture and create a shaker card...CHECK!!  How fun to be a "crazy cousin" added into the Double Trouble family tree.  Thanks for letting me be a guest designer for this challenge.

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT704 ...These two challenges (Double Trouble & TSOT) always partner up.  Since this is a planned partnership on their part (not me picking and combining challenges) you always know they work perfectly together!!

Ellibelle's Garden Party // #19 ...An "anything found in or from a garden" challenge!!  Butterflies and mushrooms are both found in a garden!!

Can You Handle The Pressure // 12SEPT26 ...An embossing challenge!!  They also give an optional theme but I didn't use it on today's card...just a honeycomb embossing folder.

Word Art Wednesday // #768-769 ...An "anything goes scripture inspired" challenge!!  I didn't use the scripture this time, instead I just kept the card front free of any sentiment.

Addicted to CAS // #316 ...A "code word" challenge!!  PURPLE is the code word for this current challenge.  I used Stampin Up's Rich Razzleberry ink for my purple.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW875 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is USE A STAMP.  I used Stampin Up's Wildflower Designs to stamp my tag and my envelope.

Word Art Wednesday // #768-769 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional scripture verse theme.  I didn't used the verse on the out side of my card but I will be including it on the inside...it is a perfect verse to share as a reminder to abide in HIS peace!!

Sunday Stamps // #SSC392 ...A sketch challenge by Amy!!  Amy has a FRAMED FOCUS sketch to inspire us.  I decided to make my FRAMED FOCUS a Christmas theme.

Just Add Ink // #JAI791 ...A "just add" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are "just adding" a Christmas theme.  My little mouse & owl friends are wishing you a very Merry Christmas!!

Jingle Belles // #JB2616 ...A "year round Christmas" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are given a Christmas tic-tac-toe board to play with.   My winning three in a row on this game board runs diagonal from the bottom left to the top right: die, red/green, and embossing.

Word Art Wednesday // #764-765 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional scripture verse prompt.  I didn't use the verse prompt this time but I did want to share my card because I used part of my prize that I won here on Word Art Wednesday from Pretty Little Studios.

Never Before Used // #NBUS89 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have "never been used"...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today I am using a prize items that I just won from Pretty Little Studios...the owl & mouse die cut.

Scrap~N~Sketch // #SNS299 ...A monthly sketch challenge that offers both card and scrapbook sketches!!  I used this month's card sketch as the starting point for today's card.

Ellibelle's Garden Party // #17 ...An "anything from or in the garden" challenge!!  FLOWERS...even a veggie garden has blooms so all gardens at some point have flowers!!

Word Art Wednesday // #762-763 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional scripture.  I didn't use this week's given scripture verse but I used another one.  It is a scripture verse stamp from Verve Stamps (no longer in business but I love all of their stamps that I have and have kept them in my stash.

We Love Stamping // JUL2026 ...A monthly "stamping" challenge with a theme!!  SUMMERTIME is the theme for this current challenge.  How about some summer wildflowers??  I used Stampin Up's Wildflower Designs to showcase summertime on my card.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc297 ...A "game board" challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: summer theme (summer wildflowers), free (my free item is a boarder punch), and layers (layered stamping along with 3 paper layers with an added layer of ribbon).

Word Power Challenges // JUL2026 ...A monthly "word power" challenge!!  A challenge where words are the focal point.  I chose to use a scripture verse as my focal point...words from the Word!!

 Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #338 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  For this current challenge the theme is DIES ONLY w/ STAMPED SENTIMENT.   I used Spellbinder flower dies & a stitched rectangle die from Stampin Up, and no stamping except for the sentiment.

CAS on Friday // #337 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  CHRISTMAS IN JULY is the theme for this current challenge.

Using my score board, I made my Very Vanilla layer into a package with a poinsettia as my bow.  I added matching score lines to my sentiment tag...rejoice and be glad.

Love Those Pretty Papers // MAR2026 ...A "designer paper" challenge with an optional twist!!  The optional twist for this challenge is CIRCLES!!  I picked some Pacific Point designer paper from Stamping Up with circle on it.

Word Art Wednesday // #742-742 ...An "anything goes" challenge inspired by scripture!!  While I didn't use the verse on my card I did use an inspirational sentiment followed the "anything goes" portion of this challenge.

Inspire.Create.Challeng // #ICC207 ...A theme challenge!!  "Something New" is the theme for this current challenge.  My "new" is my vanilla card base...I just got a new package of card bases.  

Word Art Wednesday // #734-735 ...An "anything goes" challenge with the option of using scripture.  I didn't use the same verse but I did use a verse!!

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb263 ...An "anything goes" challenge using retro stamps!!  Retro stamps means that we use stamps that are over a year old.  I have had this verse set from Papertrey Ink for over a year but have not inked them up very often.
