Card #1 was inspired by 1 challenge...

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd681 ...A color challenge!! The combo for this current challenge was celery, sage, pale pink and plum.  I used Stampin Up's Pear Pizzazz, Lucky Limeade, Blushing Bride, and Rich Razzleberry (stamped off once to get the plum color I wanted).

Card # 2 was inspired by 2 challenges...

Just Add Ink // #JAI592 ...A choose two challenge!!  Out of the 3 elements given choose two of them for your project.  The 3 elements...texture//patterned paper//layers.  I chose patterned papers and layers as my 2 elements.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC461 ...A sketch challenge!!  You might have to really look for my "circle" portion of the sketch...it is a ring of rhinestones!!  Very obvious in real life but got kinda lost in my photo.

Shopping Our Stash Begins a New Challenge Today!!

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS464 ...Today begins a new challenge!!  "You Deserve A Hand"....that is our challenge for you!!  I pulled Stampin Up's Treasures Of Life stamp set from my stash because it has this sweet set of hands that is perfect for this challenge!!  Today I was also able to use up some scrap pieces of card stock from my stash.  What do you have in your stash that fits our new challenge??  I can't wait to see your creations...come on over an play along!!

"You Deserve A Hand" Challenge

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT542 ...A sketch challenge!!  With an optional twist...FLORAL!!  I loved this sketch for showcasing our new challenge over at SOS and I used some floral designer paper as my background so that I had the floral option covered!!

A second card because I just can't put down this new stamp set!!

Ever since Seas the Day arrived it has been on my desk!!  Today's card show a completely non-nautical card.  The "seaweed" stamp from this set makes a great berry bush!!  I used the sketch challenge from TGIF Challenges ( #TGIF355 ) as my inspiration.

Card #1 was inspired by 2 challlenges...

CAS Colours & Sketches // #CC&S456 ...A sketch challenge!! For the ovals in this sketch I used 2 fish and some die cut seaweed.  Both from the Seas the Day set that I just got from Stampin Up!!  As you can tell I am having a hard time putting it away!!  I promise to use a different set tomorrow!!

CASology // #456 ...A cue card challenge!!  The cue for this challenge is...AFFECTION!!  Affection is shown in so many ways...romantic, friendship, family and many more.  I made 2 for his challenge, a romantic one with my Hey, handsome card that I posted several days ago and today I made a friendship one.

Card #2 was inspired by 2 challenges...

Color Throwdown // #ctd679 ...A color challenge!! The trio of colors for this challenge...blue, green, and gold.  I used Stampin Up's Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, and for my gold I used gold embossing powder and thread.

As You See It // #AYSI268 ...A fill in the blank challenge!!  My favorite technique is_______.  EMBOSSING!! Whether it is heat or dry...I love them both!!  I feel like they really add a WOW effect to any card!!  For today's card I used both!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC459 ...A sketch challenge!!  I made this one a slim line card.  Seemed like the perfect sketch for showcasing my new arrival from Stampin Up...Seas the Day.  I paired it up with a retired sentiment, some retired Whale of a Time designer papers and a scattering of sequins.

Card #2 was inspired by 1 challenge...

Global Design Project // #GDP329 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in the challenge...Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness and Mango Melody.  Because I am having so much fun with my new set I just had to make these colors into a seascape.  Did you know that Misty Moonlight and Mango Melody kinda make a green?!?

Seas the Day

2 challenges inspired today's card...

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS522 ...A sketch challenge!!  Since my new Seas the Day bundle from Stampin Up arrived I really wanted to use it for this sketch.  My plan was to use the octopus as the square and the crab as the circle but when I put it together I felt like the sketch was "lost"!!  So...I added a pen and ink square to pull it all together and "find" the sketch.  I actually love how it turned out.

The Paper Players // #PP577 ...A theme challenge!! Love & Friendship is the theme!!  This "You got a friend in me" sentiment was perfect for finishing off this Seas the Day card.

Seas the Day Bundle Arrived!! And 2 Flowering Cactus Cards

 

Over lunch today I got my Seas the Day bundle in the mail!!  I ate quick and spent the rest of my lunch break playing with my  new set!!  I made a card for the As You See It color challenge...I thought I was gonna miss out casing Heather's card for this challenge but I got my order just in time to get this card in right under the wire!!

2 Flowering Cactus cards...

Stampin Up's Flowering Cactus bundle was perfect for creating these two cards.  This first card was made for the color challenge from TGIF Challenges #354.  The color combo for this challenge...Soft Sea Foam, Smokey Slate and Calypso Corral. 

The second card was made for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge #276.  This sketch is simple yet dynamic!

Both cards were inspired by 2 other challenges...Just Us Girls word challenge...FRIENDS!! ( #JUG618 ) and The Paper Players...FRIENDSHIP/LOVE!! (#PP577 ).
