Twofer Challenge # 31 & Just Add Ink Challenge #522

It is time again for another Twofer challenge...this current challenge has us creating trees!!  I decided to use Stampin Up's tree builder punch.  My first card uses the punch unconventionally...the "trunk" creates the branch that the baby bundle is hanging from,  the "tree top" portion makes the baby blanket and the portion of the blanket that is looped over the tree branch is the middle portion of the trunk.  There is also a little leave/tear drop in the punch...I punched out two of those for the feet.   My second card has a trio of trees using the punch in the way it was intended.  This trio of trees was inspired by the sketch challenge from Just Add Ink.

#bethegift challenge:  Be the gift today and choose joy!! Think of as many things to be grateful for as you possibly can!!

  5. Oh my goodness ... who saw a baby bundle in a tree canopy, DJ ... well you did, of course! Brilliant unconventional use of your tree ... and the leaves for the feet too ... just so cute! Your duo of trees on your get well card really pop against the stitched panels ... and the pp makes for lovely rich leaves! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
