Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC591 ...A sketch challenge!!  At school this week I was gifted a t-shirt that was wrapped in this ruler ribbon and I wanted to make a card for her using the ribbon...this sketch was perfect for that!!

Festive Friday Challenges // #FF0166 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  For this challenge we have been given an inspo list of 10 elements honoring this "Back to School" season.  Our challenge is to include 3 of the 10 elements on our card.  My 3 elements from the inspo list are chalk board, yellow, and black.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc486 ...A theme challenge!!  BACK TO SCHOOL is the theme for this current challenge!! The ruler, apple, and notebook paper in the photo were my inspiration.

Update:  Two wins for this card!! Yippie!!  Thanks to the Atlantic Hearts Sketch team and the Festive Friday design team for a shout out from each of them on this card!!  What an honor to be chosen as a "top 3" by both of these challenges challenge!!  This was a fun card to make and give to a friend who gave me the ribbon, and I will love telling her about these wins!!

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G354

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G354 ...A masculine challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this challenge is Sunrise or Sunset!!  I love them both!!  Which is your favorite??  On a card, can you tell whether a sunrise or a sunset has been created??  I asked my hubby if he could tell either I created a sunrise or a sunset and he said...No but he would pick sunrise since he is a morning person!!

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC174 ...A theme challenge!!  MEN is the theme for this challenge!!  So this challenge paired up perfectly with the new challenge that we started today at C4G since that challenge is always a masculine challenge.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC793 ...A theme challenge!!  SUMMER DAYS is the theme for this challenge!!  Who doesn't love a summer time sunset/sunrise over the water??  And if you can do it from a sailboat....YES, PLEASE!!  All products and papers used for today's card are from Stampin Up.

Color Hues // #TCH93 ...A color challenge!!  The duo of colors called for in this current challenge...Yellow and Orange!!  Those colors you will always find in a sunset or sunrise!!

Sketch Saturday // #SS757 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for using different designer paper leftovers...boy do I have a box full!!  Thanks for a sketch that got me rummaging through my leftovers.

Alphabet Challenge // 09AUG24 ...An alphabet challenge!!  J is for juvenile!!  So... I made a card for a grand-nephew's 3 birthday.  This little trike makes a fun card for a toddler!!

Can You Handle the Pressure // 10AUG24 ...An embossing challenge!!  This embossing challenge also has an optional twist, and that twist is WHEELS!!  I don't have an embossing folder with wheels but I include wheels on my card by stamping them.

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb237 ...A tic-tac-toe game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row (across the bottom of the board) on this game board: die, metallic, and your choice.  This challenge is always a retro challenge which means we are asked to use a stamp that is over a year old.  My sentiment is from Stampin Up's Snow Place stamp set that came out in 2015.

Just Add Ink // #JAI715 ...A technique challenge!!  For this current challenge we are asked to use shading or a shadow!!  I cut out a second snowflake die in black and used it to create a shadow for my snowflake.

Make My Monday // #MMM232 ...A theme challenge!!  SOMETHING METALLIC is the theme for this current challenge.  I used a metallic sliver brad at the center of my snowflake die.

Just Us Girls // #JUG740 ...A "mood board" challenge!!  So much yellow buzzing with bees among the daisies!!  I right away thought of this die.  It is a fairly new die to me...I think I have only made one other card with it...and ideal for showcasing this mood board.

Colorful Options // AUG2024 ...A monthly color challenge!!  Green & Yellow are the colors called for during the month of August.  I used Stamped Up's Daffodil Delight and Old Olive for my color combo.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd806 ...A color challenge!!  Yellow, green, and brown are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  I used Early Espresso and Old Olive from Stampin Up for my green and brown.  Oh...and the polk-a-dotted ribbon for my brown as well!!  My yellow was a paper sunflower from Hobby Lobby.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS649 ...A sketch challenge!!  As soon as I saw this sketch I thought about this punch from Stampin Up!!  I wanted it to be a little bit bigger and needed some more besides the little leaf, so I just added a boarder of Old Olive.

Colorful Options // AUG2024 ...A monthly color challenge!!  For the month of August they are asking for Yellow//Green!!  Perfect combination for a sunflower "thank you" card!

The Paper Players // #PP702 ...A color challenge!!  Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam, and Flirty Flamingo are the color called for in this current challenge.  A sweet color combo...perfect for a cluster of strawberries!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC590 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the perfect starting point for today's card.  

Inspiration Station // #IS64 ...A monthly "photo inspired" challenge!!  The photo given for August is a colorful array of fruits!!  I made a card on Sunday that was intended to be for this challenge but it wasn't until today that I realized I forgot to include it.  So...I decided to use these same stamps and make another entry.

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb237 ...A tic-tac-toe game board challenge!!  This challenge aways include a retro element...meaning that we have to use stamps that are at least a year old!!  I used Stampin Up's Sweet Strawberry bundle from 2021 for my retro element.  The sentiment is even older...2012's Teeny Tiny Wishes set from Stampin Up as well.  My winning three in a row on this game board runs across the middle: sequins, embossing (I heat embossed white flowers on my Lemon Lolly card stock), and twine.
