Try Stampin on Tuesday #588 // Once Upon A Time #6

 2 challenges inspired today's card...

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT588 ...A sketch challenge!!  I created a winter scene for my top panel instead of layering a full rectangle and my sentiment was to long to just be in the right hand corner so it goes all the way across...I hope those two changes are okay!!

Once Upon A Time // #6 ...A book challenge!!  Use the given book as your inspiration for your card.  I'll take a snow day over a sick day!!  The title was my inspiration and those footprints...or should I say paw prints!!  Not sure why but when I saw those footprints this Tim Holtz bear die popped into my mind!!

Update:  This card was chosen as a "top 3" over at Try Stampin On Tuesday!!  Thanks for the shout out on my card...this was a fun one!!

Inspired By Challenge #218 // Global Design Project #375

Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...

Inspired By // #IB218 ...A photo challenge with optional sketch!!  For today's card I used both.  Drawing my inspiration from the gold & aqua color combo and the New Year theme.  The new year is here so let's not just "seas the day" but seize the year!!  Here's to a year of love, laughter, and blessings from above!!

Global Design Project // #GDP375 ...A theme challenge!!  PARTY!!  Let's have a beach party and "seas the day".  May there be lots to celebrate in 2023!!

TGIF Challenges #401

Today's card was inspired by 1 challenge...

TGIF Challenges // #tgif401 ...A technique challenge!!  SIMPLE!!  Keep your technique simple!!  For my card I used one of the card stock pieces that my 2 year old grand daughter embossed.  She and I had a fun time using my Big Shot!!  I let her run several different card stock colors through using several different folders...she loved it!!  She found "joy in the little things"!!  I'll use them some how to create cards...just like I did today!!  I finished my card off "without pretense or much adornment" just a simple sentiment, a little sponging, and a bit of twine...came together "in a snap"!!

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash

Today begins a new challenge at...

Pajama Day  #SOS487

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS487 ...A theme challenge!!  PAJAMAS!!  Let's be honest...we have all spent many a holiday day in our PJs!?! Right?!?  Well then...use your PJs to inspire your card.  And...include a picture of your jammies so we can see your inspiration.  Myself along with the rest of the design team at Shopping Our Stash is excited to see your creation.  So...go "shop your stash" and see what goodies you have that can be used based on your favorite jammies!!

I have some flannel PJs with all kinds of coffee cups and sentiments on them that I  used as my inspiration for my card.  My photo shows me in them enjoying our fire and a cup of coffee in a new mug I got for Christmas.  From my stash I used a "coffee" sentiment die that has me laying on my desk for months.  I had cut it out to use on another card but decided to go a different direction so it just has been laying there.

Now it is your turn!!  Hop on over to our blog to find additional inspiration from the rest of the design team, and then "shop your stash" and create a card as an entry in our PAJAMA challenge.

2 other challenges also inspired today's card...

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC499 ...A sketch challenge!!  I love coffee so for me hearts and coffee just go together!!  So this sketch was just perfect for my coffee card.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC133 ...A theme challenge!!  New to you!!  Use something new!!  New year!! New Stuff!!  I used the Ranger Texture Paste that I just got this Christmas.

Sketch Saturday Extra // HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

 Happy New Year!!

So thankful for the Sketch Saturday Extra!  I was running out of challenges with so many taking a Holiday break, and I sure didn't want to end my daily posting streak that ran all through 2022.  That would be no way to start the New Year!!  Here's to posting daily in 2023 with cards I have created to bless others.  May we revive the dying art of written sentiments to bring a smile and some encouragement to those in our circle.

Sketch Saturday Extra // 12.26.22 ...A archived sketch challenge!!  For this extra challenge we were asked to pick a previous sketch as our inspiration.  I picked a sketch from back in 2013.  It was the one that jumped out at me as I looked through past sketch.  So here is my "new take" on an old sketch...sketch #245 from February 9th, 2013!!
