This card was created for the Less Is More Challenge.  The challenge this week was to create a card using both a solid image and an outlined image.  Stampin Up's Penned and Painted seemed like the perfect set for pulling this off.  

                            

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #070 & Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #342

Today's card was created for two challenges.  A color challenge from the Hand Stamped Sentiments team and the Tic Tac Toe Challenge board.  The color combo from Hand Stamped Sentiments was Pool Party, Mint Macaroon, and Bermuda Bay.   This color combo made me with of summer time and the ocean.  My three in a row on the Tic Tac Toe board run down the left side...Polk a Dots/Sequins/Summer.

One simple sketch challenge inspired today's card.  I am playing along with the sketch challenge from the Freshly Made Sketches team.  Stampin Up's Rose Wonder seemed like perfect for this sketch.

Cardz 4 Guyz #247 / Paper Craft Crew #382 / Time Out #164

Three challenges for today's card....the color challenge from the Paper Craft Crew, the "shaker" challenge from Cardz 4 Guyz, and the photo challenge from the Time Out team.  I love this #Hello stamp set from Stampin Up....it didn't stay around long but it remains on my shelf and gets used from time to time...great set for making birthday cards for all my nephews (we have a lot of them)!!

Color Throwdown Challenge #599 & Global Design Project #246

Inspiration for today's card came from the color challenge from the Color Throwdown team & the sketch challenge from the Global Design Project team.  Both the sketch and the color combo sang out a celebration....so a birthday card was created.  Thank guys for inspiring me!!   While all the products (designer papers, die, stamps) I used to make this card are from Stampin Up, sadly they have been retired!!  I however just can't part with them!!

Paper Players Challenge #496 & Addicted to CAS Challenge #187

Addicted to CAS called for a single layer...all stamping done on your base card with no paper layers, die cuts or embellishments.   I embossed a heart with silver embossing powder and melted my "thanks" sentiment into it!!  My inspiration behind this was from the Paper Players photo challenge....and since they are also calling for a CAS (Clean And Simple) card...my creation was perfect for both challenges.

The Library Challenge #61

Layers...By Tessa Huff

That is the current challenge from The Library Challenge.  Our challenge is to create a card that is inspired by the cover, the title, or the story.  So...what kind of card do you make for this book...one that says Happy Birthday with a big ole layered cake, of course!!  This was a fun challenge and I loved layering up this cake with lots of cherries!!

Mojo Monday Challlenge #539 & Sunday Stamps Challenge #233

Today, I am playing along with the sketch challenge from the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.  I also am playing along with the Sunday Stamps color/photo challenge. The colors and the theme from the Sunday Stamps challenge helps me decided on pulling the Stampin Up's Sailing Home bundle off the shelf.

Twofer Challenge // Circles & Bubbles

Nothing like waiting until the last day!!! I got all out of schedule while my daughter and son-in-law were here for a week...almost missed out on this fun challenge.  Anyway...here is my take on The Twofer Challenge  to make a card using bubbles & circles.  I am using the "bubbles" from Seaside Notes and the single circle stamp from Lily Pad Lake.  I also used the "sea grass" die from the Sailing Home bundle.  All three of these sets are from Stampin Up.

Today's card was created for the Fusion Challenge.  This challenge give you a photo and a sketch...you may use the sketch or the photo...or "fuse" them together, using both elements!! FUSION!!  Today I am using both.

INKspirational Challenge #215 & Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #341

YELLOW!!  That is the challenge from the INKspirational team.  I right away thought of my Honey Bee bundle from Stampin Up.   While putting my thoughts together, I noticed that the smallest bee in the set would work perfect for the sketch challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments.   And there you have it...two challenges inspired today's card.

One Card for Three Challenges

Today's card was created for the color challenge from The Paper Players (Real Red//sentiment, twine & torn card stock accent...Basic Gray//oars & torn card stock accent...Tranquil Tide//stamped frog, splatters & grassy area), the sketch challenge from the Paper Craft Crew, and the FATHER cue card from CASology.  I am using Stampin Up's By the Dock bundle along with the sentiment from the Guy Greeting set.

  

UPDATE:  Woohoo!!! This sweet Father's Day card was chosen as the HEADLINER for the Paper Players Challenge!!  And was a top pick for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  What an honor....thanks, Paper Players & Paper Craft Crew!!
