World's Greatest Dad

3 challenges inspired today's card...

The Paper Players // #PP642 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for creating another Father's Day card that was ordered by a friend.  Thanks for a great starting point!!

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC520 ...A theme challenge!!  MASCULINE!!  Great timing for this theme with Father's Day right around the corner.

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb207 ...An "anything goes" challenge!!  But...you have to use a stamp that is over a year old.  I used Stampin Up's Guy Greetings set that came out in 2015...an oldie but goodie!!

2 Father's Day Cards

Card #1 inspired by 2 challenges...

Retro Rubber // #rrcb184 ...A color challenge!! Those 70's colors!!  And as always use a stamp that is over a year old.  My retro...the trees were punched out using retired punches and I'm using Stampin Up's Guy Greetings set from 2015 as my sentiment.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS391 ...An inspiration challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo collage...sunset, woodland, outdoor theme.

Card #2 inspired by 2 challenges...

The Paper Players // #PP595 ...A color challenge!!  White, Real Read, and Pacific Point...nautical combination in my mind!!  I kept it clean and simple this time.

CASology // #404 ...A cue card challenge!!  RIDE!!  Usually we think of wheels when we hear the word ride, right?!?  But my dad's favorite place to ride...our boat!!  And since Father's Day is this weekend I am going with his favorite ride!!

Try Stampin on Tuesday Challenge #509

#tsot509

Today's card was inspired by a sketch challenge ( #tsot509 ) from the Try Stampin on Tuesday team and a special request from a friend to make a "Superman" Father's Day card. I don't know about you but I don't have any Superman stamps!!  So...I found a black and white image that I copied on red and yellow paper, then I cut and pieced it together to create my focal image!  My friend loved it and I hope the recipient will too!

Verse of the Day:

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #066 & CAS(E) this Sketch #286

Another Father's Day cards to add to my stash.   This one was inspired by the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch and the game board from the Tic Tac Toe team.  My win on the Tic Tac Toe board is the left going down...Vintage//Nature//Tan&Cream.  I love this new "birds on a wire" embossing folder that I was gifted.  It has a vintage feel to it...especially when sponged!!

#bethegift challenge:   June first...Today begins another month of #bethegift prompts.  These prompts were written several years ago by Ann Voskamp...She has such inspiring ideas.  Join me in "Being the Gift" this month.  Go grocery shopping this month with some pre-written thank you notes...slip one to the cashier and the bagger.

Amazing!!//Fishing worms...I don't care for them but my hubby and daughter think they are kinda great!!
