Freshly Made Sketches #444 & Color Throwdown Challenge #602...Cardz 4 Guys too!
Nothing pairs better than a color challenge and a sketch challenge!! That is what I am doing today...using the color challenge from the Color Throwdownteam and the sketch challenge from the Freshly Made Sketches team. The color combo this week is peach, green, blue and gold. I am using Stampin Up's Peekaboo Peach, Wild Wasabi, Misty Moonlight, and Marina Mist inks along with some gold card stock. My turtle from Stampin Up's Whale Done set was stamped in Misty Moonlight...colored in with Wild Wasabi...and then stamped with the Peekaboo Peach ink all over it using the "sun" stamp from Stampin Up's Waterfront set. It almost looks like one of the turtles from the designer paper that I was wishing I had purchased!! Just realized as I was typing up this post that this card would also work for the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge to use "no designer paper".
#bethegift challenge: See how many encouraging things you can say today...#bethegift and build others up.
I am married to a wonderful man and we have 2 children--a son who lives in Long Island, NY and a daughter who lives in Chicago. We live in Florida, which feels so very far away from our kids especially since we have a grand-daughter and a second grandchild on the way!! For over 20 years I was a Stampin Up Demonstrator, but in 2021 I let go of my demonstratorship. I still love scrapbooking & creating cards and have enough Stampin Up products to last me till eternity...so I will keep on creating!! Proud to be a daughter of the Most High God--who was and is and is to come!!
Very nice card, your images all look so good on the black background, especially the sunset scene. Thank you for sharing with us at Cardz 4 Guys!ReplyDelete
