New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC332

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC332 ...A sketch challenge!!  Our new challenge, "Reflections" that begins today is a sketch challenge.  The triangles called for in this sketch reminded me of a waterfront reflection that I had stamped in the past.  So...I pulled out Stampin Up's Waterfront stamp set and used the pine trees as my triangles.  Creating a "reflection" in the water!!

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATSM464 ...An "any occasion" challenge!!  What better occasion to send a card than when sickness hits!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS629 ...A sketch challenge!!  This clean and simple sketch works perfectly for send out some get well wishes.  A sketch challenge always pairs nicely with a color challenge!!

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd786 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in this challenge...cream, pink, and brown!!  I used Very Vanilla, Melon Mambo, and Early Espresso for my trio of colors.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd774 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this current challenge is blue, olive, and cream.  I used inks for my blue and olive and the ivory was accomplished with ribbon and card stock.  We can't wait to see your take of this new challenge that starts today.  Hop on over the the CTD blog and get all the details for playing along with us...there are so many great takes from the design team to get your creative juices flowing.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #58 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  The sentiment that I used on this card is brand new and getting inked up for the very first time.  I ordered this pack of sympathy sentiments and absolutely love the verbage along with the scripted font.

Alphabet Challenge // 29DEC2023 ...An alphabet challenge!!  T is for Texture!!  An embossed background is a great way to add texture to a card...but my ribbon adds even more texture!!

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash

 Today begins a new challenge...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS476 ...An "use from you stash" challenge!!  She sells seashells is the theme for the challenge that begins today.  So...what do you have in your stash that represents the sea, ocean, beach, or seashells?!!?  I can't wait to see your creation for our challenge!!

For my card I pulled out Stampin Up's Friends Are Like Seashells set and went to work.  I decided to pair that set with their Waterfront set so that I could create a silhouette on the large shell.

Paper Craft Crew Challenges // #PCC480 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for creating a retirement card for a teacher friend.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge // #tttc172 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row are watercolor (left watercolor paper that had ink on it), free (I used stickers for my "free" element, and any sentiment.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc379 ...A theme challenge!! BACK TO SCHOOL!!  The start of school is a very big deal when it is your last school year...Happy Retirement year to a dear friend!

New Challenge Begins Today @ Cardz 4 Guyz

Today begins a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz!! #C4G297

We hope you will join the fun and play along with our new challenge.  For this current challenge we want you to make a masculine card that showcases this theme...ON THE WATER.

For my card I used Stampin Up's dies and stamps from 3 sets...By the Dock, Best Catch and Waterfront.  All of these sets work great for creating a masculine card.  I made this one for my Dad for Father's Day.  I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge. 

My card was also inspired by another challenge...

Tic Tac Toe Challenges // #tttc163 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board are...Dad, ribbon, and square card.  I used a piece of burlap ribbon from a floral arrangement I received earlier this year, cut my card base to a 4 x 4 and used a DAD sentiment from Stampin Up's Best Catch set.

Card #2 inspired by 2 challlenges...

Less Is More // LIM465 ...A rainbow challenge!!  ROYGBIV Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.  It is raining as I post this card and the sun is trying to peek through...that means there is a rainbow somewhere out there!!

Addicted to CAS // #221 ...A code word challenge!!  The code word for this challenge is STRIPES.  The colors of the rainbow make beautiful stripes as a backdrop for my umbrella.

As You See It // #AYSI272 ...A sketch challenge!!  Horizontal Array!!  I decide to use this sketch as a backdrop...creating the mulitple horizontal lines with washi tape.

Time Out // #211 ...A photo challenge!! This photo made me think of a quote on t-shirts we had made when we were running our vacation rentals in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  "The mountains are calling and I must go!!"

Festive Friday // #FF0106 ...An Inspo List challenge!!  From the 10 items on their inspo list in honor of World Art Day...pick three!!  I picked watercolor paper, washi tape, and landscape.

Color Throwdown #689 // Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challlenge #460

 2 challenges inspired today's card...

Color Throwdown // #ctd680 ...A color challenge!!  Two blues, green, and brown was the color combo for this challenge.  I loved the woodland theme in the photo...so I used Stampin Up's Waterfront stamp set to create my own woodland scene for my card.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #460 ...A sketch challenge!! This sketch had me stumped for a bit.  I spent a good bit of time looking for the right products for pulling off this sketch.  Didn't have the exact shape but I do love how my card turned out.

 3 challenges inspired today's card...

Retro Rubber // #rrcb169 ...An "anything goes" challenge!!  The catch with this challenge is that you always need to use a stamp set that is over a year old.  I am using Stampin Up's Waterfront set that came out in 2018.

Update:  This card was a "top pick" by the Retro Rubber team!!  Thanks for the shout out!!

CASology // #396 ...A cue card challenge!!  The cue card for this current challenge is VIEW!!  There is no view like that of the sun through the trees from your cabin deck in the mountains.

The Paper Players // #PP563 ...A theme challenge!!  BIRTHDAY is the theme but the design team is also asking that it be a CAS card...clean and simple!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS372 ...A color challenge!! The color combo for this current challenge is Merry Merlot, Petal Pink, and Cinnamon Cider.  This color combo had me thinking about a sunset!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #437 ...A sketch challenge!!  Every sketch challenge is the base for a great card and each one leaves us with endless possibilities!! Stampin Up's Winter Woods bundle was perfect for my watercolor sunset.
