 Card #1...2 challenges inspired today's 1st card...

Jingle Bells // #JB2504 ...A year-round Christmas challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "a see-through element"!!  I used snowflake printed vellum for my see through element and created a shaker card using Stampin Up's Christmas Tree die from their Winter Woods bundle.

ABC Christmas // FEB25 ...A monthly Christmas challenge that follows the alphabet!!  C is for CUTE & D is for DIE CUTS.  I used this cute little mouse (from Colorado Craft Company) that is super excited for Christmas to roll back around, and a Christmas tree die cute to create my shaker card.

So sorry that my Merry Christmas sentiment in gold doesn't show up that great in my photo...to much reflecting off that glossy golden sentiment...in real life it looks great!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC617

...A sketch challenge!!  I was having fun playing with my new stamps (Terrific Toadstools) from Stamping Up and ended up making this card using just one challenge.  I I kept seeing cards made with these stamps and just had to have them but I have been struggling using them...I'll keep working at it!!

Update:  Thanks to the Atlantic Hearts design team for the shout out on my mushroom card!!  What an honor to be chosen as on of the "top 3" for this sketch challenge!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS511 ...A sketch challenge!!  A simple sketch offering great inspiration during this busy time of year.

Color Throwdown // #CTD668 ...A color challenge!! Brown, Rust, Blue and Gold...a beautiful woodsy combination.  I stamped in rust and blue, added in a brown wood grain tree and sentiment banner, embossed my sentiment and pine cones in gold, then finished it off with some sky blue hemp. I got all colors accounted for!

Card #2...

Just Add Ink // #JAI580 ...A color challenge!! Just add Blushing Bride, Evening Evergreen, and Gold.  I am completely out of gold card stock so I embossed my die cut flower using gold embossing powder...worked like a charm!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #CC&S445 ...A sketch challenge!! I had so much fun with this sketch yesterday I had to use it again!

CASology // #397 ...A cue card challenge!!  The cue card for this challenge is TYPE!!  I used a TYPED out sentiment!!  That typewriter font is perfect for this cue card.

INKspirational Challenges // #251 ...A word prompt challenge!! CHEER is the word for this current challenge.  With Christmas right around the corner I decided to create a little Christmas Cheer!!

Global Design Project // #GDP317 ...A color challenge!! The trio of colors for this challenge...Blushing Bride, Misty Moonlight, and Mint Macaroon.  These colors inspired a winter wonderland in my mind.

Less Is More 455 // Just Us Girls 609 // Just Add Ink 579

 3 challenges inspired today's card...

Less Is More // #LIM455 ...A white on white challenge!!  Winter whites!! I used Whisper White card stock as my base and for my die cut Christmas tree.  There is also a layer of white mulberry paper that is had to see in the photo but give the card a whispy wintery feel.

Just Us Girls // #JUG609 ...A word challenge!! MERRY is the word given to us for our inspiration.  The sentiment Merry & Bright seemed perfect for this CAS winter wonderland card.

Just Add Ink // #JAI579 ....A choose two challenge!!  We are given three elements but asked to choose just two for our creation.  The three elements are...Foil, Glimmer, Shimmer!  I used the foil (adhesive foil sheets) and shimmer (clear rhinestones) for my card.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS372 ...A color challenge!! The color combo for this current challenge is Merry Merlot, Petal Pink, and Cinnamon Cider.  This color combo had me thinking about a sunset!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #437 ...A sketch challenge!!  Every sketch challenge is the base for a great card and each one leaves us with endless possibilities!! Stampin Up's Winter Woods bundle was perfect for my watercolor sunset.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc330 ...An "inspired by" challenge!! Be in inspired by the new Stampin Up mini catalog or on of the design team members.  This card was inspired by one of the design team members' card...Melissa Stout.  I just loved her card and decided that her card would be my inspiration!!  Thanks Melissa for the inspiration.

Time Out // #195 ...A theme challenge!! The theme for this current challenge...colored base cards.  I rarely do this any more but love the look!!  Thanks for the inspiration...you got me out of a rut!!

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Color Hues // #TCH24 ...A color challenge!!  The color duo for this current challenge is Turquoise & Coral.  I used Calypso Coral and Tempting Turquoise (retired) from Stampin Up.

Try Stamping on Tuesday // #TSOT520 ...A sketch challenge!!  We were also challenges to get messy and try out ink splattering.  I got messy (always do when I am stampin) but opted for a splatter stamp!!

Retro Rubber // #rrcb165 ...A "mode of transportation" challenge!! The catch...stamps must be over a year old!!  My splatter stamp is from Stampin Up's Swirly Bird which came out is 2016.  The bicycle stamp (my mode of transportation) is just over a year old...got it in the spring of last year.

Today's card was created for the Time Out challenge.  This challenge was a photo challenge.  I used the colors and the setting as my inspiration.  Here's to a Happy New Year!!  May 2021 be better than 2020!!

Paper Craft Crew Challenge #403...A photo challenge!  I just love this wintery photo with the blue blue night sky filled with snowflakes!!  

The Library Challenge #73...Quiet Please Crafters! You’re in The Library now.  You can be inspired by...The Cover or The Title or The Story!!  This time the book that has been pulled off the shelf is The Night Before Christmas by Clement C Moore. In this version, the famous poem  (originally called A Visit from St Nicholas) has been made into a picture book, illustrated by Antonio Caparo. 

 

Update:  Yippie!!  This card got a shout out for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge...it was a top pick!

 Two challenges inspired today's card...

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd621...A color challenge!  The color combo for this current challenge is Red, Green, Aqua, and Silver.  I used Stampin Up's Real Red, Emerald Envy, and Tempting Turquoise.  I struggled with this combo but in the end I love how it turned out!!

Just Add Ink // #533...An alphabet challenge!  "S" was the letter for this challenge! How about Silver Snowflakes!?!

Inspired By Challenge 151

Here is my take on the Inspired By Challenge...Brushed On Color!!  I kinda like these non traditional colors!!  I used Stampin Up's Winter Woods bundle for my large tree and their Waterfront set for my background of little trees.  I inked my stamp with several shades to pink to give it that "brushed on color" look. Thank to the Inspired By team for the inspiration!!
