New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC304

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC304 ...A sketch challenge!!  Today begins a new challenge and our sketch for this challenge was created by Amy.  This sketch worked perfect on a slimline card.  And since I am a sucker for all things nautical, I pulled out 2 "oldie but goodie" sets from Stampin Up...By the Sea & From Land to Sea.  We hope this new sketch will be an inspiration to you!!  Come join the fun and play along with us.  The rest of the design team has some awesome cards to help inspire you.  We look forward to seeing your creations.

Two additional challenges inspired today's card...

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb201 ...A game board challenge using stamps over a year old!!  My winning three in a row: slimline card (perfect slime line sketch from #SSC324), twine (jute holding my sentiment), and diecut (sentiment banner).  The stamp sets that I used from stamp up are well over a year old...By the Tide from 2013 & From Land to Sea from 2015.

Color Throwdown // #ctd732 ...A color challenge!!  Coral, Yellow, Navy, and Blue are the collors called for in the challenge.  I love this collage of color!!

Card #2 inspired by 2 challenges...

TGIF Challenges // #tgif410 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in this challenge: Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, and Highland Heather.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC514 ...A sketch challenge!!  I love the layers called for in the oval...creative!!  A springy theme seemed more fitting than a snowman since here is Florida we are already in shorts and tank tops!!

Update: So excited to have this card chosen as a top 3 by the Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge team!!  Y'all know how to make a girl smile!!

Oh...since my card ended up being springy...

3 "spring time" theme challenges from...

Global Design Project // #GDP383

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC137

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC507

All three of these challenges (that I regularly play along with) have "spring time" themes right now and since my card tuned out so springy I am going to enter this card into these 3 challenges as well!!

  4. Deb, making the sketch a slimline was a great idea and I love the colors of the layers of jelly fish you stamped and the twine is the perfect touch to finish off your nautical-style card!

  10. Fun sea card, DJ! I love the focus of the jellyfish which plays up the long & skinny card shape.
